Hilltop News USDF National Finals Return to All Hilltop News >>> Team Hilltop headed to the US Dressage Finals at the Kentucky Horse Park for the first week in November. We were very excited for Michael to be able to compete for the first time as a US Citizen at a US Championship and to have qualified three horses for the finals. First up for their championship class was Kaja Brix’s Westfalen gelding Feuerbach who competed at 3rd Level on Friday.  Michael and Feuerbach put in a solid test finishing just out of the ribbons in 11th with a score of 67.051 in a very competitive class.  This is only their fourth show together and we’re excited to see Feuerbach’s continued development in the coming years. Michael and his longtime partner Boxster A (Bugatti – Weltbekannt), bred and owned by Iris Aberbach, finished off a fantastic year by winning their warmup 4th3 test with a 69.5% on Thursday and then placing 3rd in the 4th Level Championship with a 68%.  Michael and Maryanna Haymon’s stallion Don Principe had qualified for two finals classes with their stellar performances at the Region 1 Championship. The pair placed 11th in the Open Grand Prix Final and 3rd in the Intermediaire B Final with a score of 66.548%. Congratulations and thank you to all of our owners who made this trip possible. Royal Prince News Romanza BA (Royal Prince-Contucci): Wonderful news from breeder Brian Arena of Florida! Brian’s 3-year old Royal Prince filly Romanza BA (Royal Prince x Cristal/Contucci) was the High Point Performance Mare at the Florida Hanoverian Inspection. USDF Year-End Awards for Hilltop Trainers & Horses

Hilltop News USDF Year-End Awards for Hilltop Trainers & Horses Return to All Hilltop News >>> As the 2014 show season draws to a close, the USDF Year End Awards have been finalized. Both Michael Bragdell and Quinnten Alston have had a fantastic year with Hilltop and client owned horses alike. Iris Aberbach’s Bugatti gelding, Boxster A was 1st for the American Hanoverian Society All-Breeds Award and 5th for USDF Horse of the Year at 4th Level with a median score of 71.796%.  Maryanna Haymon’s Hanoverian stallion Don Principe ranked 4th for AHS All-Breeds Awards at Grand Prix and they finished off the scores needed for Michael’s USDF Gold Medal in Michael’s first year of showing at the Grand Prix. Mitch and Lara Mitchelson’s 4-Year Old Dutch Warmblood gelding Faberge Blue LJS also finished the season strongly, ranking 29th for USDF HOY at Training Level with a 73.5% median score. We were very excited to have Quinnten take over handling at breed shows this year. The Hilltop Farm owned and bred yearling Hanoverian filly Relevé HTF (Royal Prince- Cordoba) was Reserve Champion HOY for her age group. Quinnten also handled Karen Radley’s yearling Royal Prince filly Royal Odessa who finished the year 2nd for ISR/ Oldenburg and 13th for HOY. Quinnten reunited with Mo Swanson’s young stallion Dheputy who finished the year in first place for DSHB Stallions HOY and GOV All-Breeds.
