Hilltop News Sternlicht Hilltop Wins US Championships Return to All Hilltop News >>> Sternlicht drew an early time spot for the USDF First Level Championships, but the brisk weather didn’t change his focus or fluidity.  Together with Michael Bragdell, the pair put in an outstanding test that earned an overall 74.363% and all scores of 8’s for gaits and impulsion.  Winning the USDF National Finals at First Level was a perfect end to the show season.  Congratulations Michael! Hilltop News Doctor Wendell MF Wins US Championships Return to All Hilltop News >>> Jim Koford and the 7-Year old Hanoverian stallion Doctor Wendell MF (Don Principe-Sandro Hit) have had an exceptional year and the USDF National Finals were the perfect ending.  They earned a 7th place in the Intermediaire I Championships with a score of 68.947% but then ironed out the little details to commandingly win the Prix St. Georges Championships with a 72.982%!  Doc now gets a little rest before the start of his Florida show season.  Go Doc Go! Click to View Article Aug, 2010 Intermediaire I National Championships Hilltop Farm's Christopher Hickey and Cabana Boy (Contucci-Bordeaux) attended the 2010 Collecting Gaits Farm/USEF Dressage Festival of Champions on August 6-8 at the historic USET headquarters in Gladstone, NJ. At only 8 years old, this was already Cabana Boy's 2nd trip to the Championships. USDF National Dressage Finals

Hilltop News USDF National Dressage Finals Return to All Hilltop News >>> For anyone who hasn’t yet attended the USDF National Dressage Finals, you should add this to your must-do list!  The Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington is a very unique and picturesque venue that sets the impressive tone from the first minute you pull in.  Stabling is good, footing in the rings is excellent, and the competition management and countless volunteers make this a truly memorable event each year. Michael Bragdell qualified four horses from to compete at the USDF Finals this year.   In the very large and competitive Prix St. Georges Open Championships, Michael had back-to-back finishes with a 7th place going to Qredit Hilltop on a score of 68.684% and an 8th place to Iris Aberbach’s Boxster A with a score of 68.333%.  In the Intermediaire II Open Championship, Michael piloted Witness Hilltop to a 6th place finish with a score of 65.395%.  Finishing out Michael’s show was the youngster of the group, Sternlicht Hilltop.  The 5-Year old stallion did not disappoint and confidently won the First Level Championships with a 74.363%.  Sternlicht also won the AHS High-Scoring Hanoverian Award for the National Levels and Qredit won the OHBS (GOV) High-Scoring Award for the FEI Levels.  What a way to end the year!   Stallion News Hilltop Archives Dec, 2013 Hilltop Farm Named 2013 USDF Breeder of the Year Each year the United States Dressage Federation honors one breeder as the USDF Dressage Breeder of the Year and we are very excited to share that Hilltop Farm was the recipient for this award in 2013. USDF Year-End Awards for Hilltop Training Horses

Hilltop News USDF Year-End Awards for Hilltop Training Horses Return to All Hilltop News >>> With the finalization of the USDF Year-End Awards, we’d like to congratulate the owners and breeders on the successes of their horses in training here at Hilltop Farm. Congratulations as well to Michael Bragdell and Jessica Fay; our Hilltop trainers had a wonderful 2015 show season. We’d especially like to point out that each of the following horses was bred in the US – a great testament to the quality breeders are producing each year. Jess and our homebred Cha Ching HTF (Contucci-Cordoba) finished 6th for the USDF Materiale Horse of the Year standings for 4 & 5 Year Old Stallions/Geldings with a 79.7%.  Michael had three horses with top Year-End finishes this year.  Qredit Hilltop (Quaterback-Dream of Glory), bred by Judy Yancey, is ranked 4th for the Oldenburg Horse Breeders Society All-Breeds at the Prix St. Georges with a median score of 68.947%.  Lara and William Mitchelson’s Faberge Blue (Contango-Democraat), bred by Lazy J Sporthorses, was Champion for the KWPN-NA All-Breeds and Reserve Champion for the USDF Horse of the Year at First Level with a median score of 76.324%.  Iris Aberbach’s homebred Boxster A (Bugatti-Weltbekannt) was Reserve Champion for the American Hanoverian Society All-Breeds at Prix St. Georges at 70.132% and Intermediare I with a 70.586%. Boxster also placed 18th overall for the USDF Horse of the Year standings for Intermediare I.  Congratulations! Royal Prince News Royal Prince Offspring Earn USDF Awards in 2015 View All Royal Prince News >>> It was another great show season for the Royal Prince offspring, with numerous offspring earning USDF and All-Breeds Awards!  Hilltop Farm’s 2-Year Old filly, Relevè HTF (ds. Cordoba), had wonderful season with Quinnten Alston earning a 6th place finish in the Dressage Sport Horse Breeding 2-Year Old Fillies year-end ranking.  Also showing in-hand, Imperius Royalina  (ds. Ekstein ) earned a KWPN-NA All-Breeds Award Reserve Championship for 2-Year Old Fillies Dressage Sporthorse Breeding for owner Judy West and breeder Dooder Luce. Four-year old stallion, Royal Tourmalet SPF (ds. Armin) had a very good year both undersaddle and in-hand. “Artie” and owner Joanna Gray-Randle earned a 4th place ranking in the Vintage Cup Training Level; as well as, a 6th place finish in the Dressage Sporthorse Breeding Stallion Division.  Congratulations to Joanna and breeder Gina Leslie! Also competing at Training Level this season was Riesling CCF (ds. Enrico Caruso).  Riesling and owner Julie Cook capped off a wonderful season with a 5th place ranking on the ISR/Oldenburg All-Breeds Awards for Training Level. Reisling was bred by Charlotte’s Creek Farm. Kristin Stein’s Rae Sangria (ds. Fantastico), bred by Donna Mayne, earned the ISR/Oldenburg All-Breeds Award Championship for First Level Open; the pair also ranked 4th at Training Level.  Also competing at First Level, Royal Tradition (ds.
