This gorgeous girl, the first Talisman filly to arrive this foaling season, was born to Arlette’s KWPN mare Olivia K on March 25th and her name will be Tallulah T. Foaling season here at Hilltop Farm has officially begun! Our first foal was delivered in the middle of a late winter snowstorm to Chellana GZ, a Zangersheide mare owned by Judith Irwin.  Our Raising Department says that this dapper colt is cheerful and happy, full of pep and personality! Congratulations Judith! 2016 Foals Our congratulations go out to Ilona English of Summit Sporthorses in Ringoes, NJ on the arrival of Tiana, a gorgeous new Talisman filly! Born to her Oldenburg mare Illizina, Ilona says “She’s very feminine, bay with hind socks and an unusual straight white blaze from between her eyes to 1/2 way down her nose.” Congratulations Ilona! Hilltop News New Stallion Additions for 2017 Return to All Hilltop News >>> It’s the New Year and we’ve got a couple of new additions to introduce you to! New international stallions for jumper and dressage breeders alike will be joining the Hilltop Farm Stallion Line-Up for 2017. Breeders looking for a jumping pedigree won’t be disappointed with the two new additions from Haras de Brullemail, Baloubar Mail (Baloubet du Rouet-Alligator Fontaine) and Catchar Mail (Diamant de Semilly – Calvaro Z). Both stallions received an overwhelming response from European breeders in their first seasons and we are excited to now offer them in North America.  For the dressage breeder, the newly approved Everdale son Inclusive (Everdale-Uptown) should be of particular interest.  This promising young stallion was named Co-Champion of the 2016 KWPN Autumn Stallion Performance Test, earning praise for his three very good basic gaits, rideability and self-carriage.   We’re looking forward to seeing the influence of these young stallions in the coming years! Jaguar Mail News Jaguar Rosette (Jaguar Mail – Riverman) Jaguar Mail News >>> It’s always great to see breeders’ offspring showing such promise for their intended discipline.  Breeder, Eileen Pritchard-Bryan, shared an update on her yearling Jaguar Mail-Riverman filly at the close of the 2016 show season. “Jaguar Rosette WG (Jaguar Mail x Ravissante/Riverman) earned a 79.25% and first place in her first Yearling Future Event Horse class at Seneca Valley Pony Club Horse Trial in September even besting the 2 and 3 year olds. Now qualified for the USEA East Coast FEH Championships at Loch Moy Farm, Rosette competed and earned a 5th place in the fillies class and an 8th place out of 22 entries of combined colts and fillies. Gallant Reflection HU News Gallant Reflection HU Standing at Hilltop Farm View All Gallant Reflection HU News >>> We are excited to share the news that Horses Unlimited’s stallion Gallant Reflection HU will be standing at Hilltop Farm this year! We look forward to sharing this special stallion with breeders via frozen semen while he continues his performance career.  Gallant Reflection already offers breeders an accomplished sport record. In 2013 he was named Reserve Champion of his 70-Day Stallion Testing, earning an overall score of 127 points.  He finished 2nd in the dressage phase and 4th in the jumping – a truly versatile talent. In 2015, Gallant Reflection was the USEF Six-Year Old National Champion.  As a seven-year old, he placed in the Top 6 at the USEF Developing Prix St. Georges National Championships, and finished in the Top 20 for USDF Horse of the Year standings for both Prix St. Georges and Intermediate I.  Gallant Reflection will be available to North American breeders via frozen semen with a 2-year contact.
