Capone (Contucci-Banter): It’s always great to see a new partnership start off their show career so successfully! Danielle Chambers and the Oldenburg Farm’s bred Contucci gelding Capone (Contucci x Beguiled/Banter) did just that. >>>

Dunmovin Dressage: Well the rain may have gotten us totally soaked, but it was still a great show at Dunmovin. Jess Fay took two horses out for their first dressage shows with super results. >>>

Contucci Foal Announcements: 07-06-17: Congratulations to Kim Davidson of Auburn, CA on the arrival of her Contucci filly! Born on June 8th to her Hanoverian mare Point Of Grace, Kim has decided that Covert Affair is the perfect name for this lovely new arrival. >>>

Cyrus (Contucci-Cor Noir) and Ribot (Reno-Cor Noir): We received a wonderful update from Carla Bahr of Ontario earlier this week. Carla owns Cyrus (Contucci x Corthena/Cor Noir) and Ribot (Reno x Corthena/Cor Noir), both bred by Hilltop Farm. >>>

USEF Sire Rankings: The United States Equestrian Federation compiles annual Sire Rankings based on competition results of recorded offspring. With the results finalized the end of December, we’re excited to share the achievements for the current, and a few former, stallions at Hilltop Farm. >>>

Contucci’s Celebration VP (Contucci – SH Magnate): It’s always great to hear updates on Contucci’s offspring. Dressage At Devon: All of us here at Team Hilltop enjoyed another successful year at Dressage at Devon 2016. With the help of King Santacruz, Quinnten and Michael presented a number of Hilltop-sired or client-owned horses to top placings over the course of the week. Despite the usual small bit of rainy weather, we were happy to catch up with clients, friends, and even welcome a few new faces into the Hilltop barns. >>>

ISR/OldenburgNA Inspection: Our annual ISR/OldenburgNA Inspection was held August 12-13th and we saw a large, diverse group of good quality horses over the two days. Five stallions were licensed. >>>

AHS/ARS Inspection: We were happy to welcome back the judges from the American Hanoverian Society/American Rhineland Studbook on July 23-24. >>>

Chasing Wonder (Contucci – Diwan): Congratulations to Tricia Sansevero on Chasing Wonder (Contucci x Dixie Wonder/Diwan) being named the FEI High Score at CDCTA Dressage at Morven Park in May! “Chase” and trainer Wanja Gerlach earned a score of 70.789% at Intermediaire II. We’ve enjoyed watching Chase develop each year and it is fun to see him continuing to shine. >>>

Copernicus (Contucci x Dicey/Domingo): It’s always great to hear such positive updates on the stallion’s offspring. Ellyn Willis recently shared sent us an update on her Contucci gelding Copernicus (Contucci-Domingo), bred by John and Ann Foster. “I just wanted to check in and let you know that Copernicus is doing amazingly well. >>>

Dressage at the Meadow Sport Horse Show: We had a really super start to the 2016 Breed Show Season this week at Dressage at the Meadow in Doswell, VA. Hilltop Farm's own Stetson HTF (Sternlicht - Negro) won his Yearling Colts Class and then went on to be named Champion Colt, Champion Young Horse, and overall Reserve Grand Champion. >>>

USDF Year-End Awards for Hilltop Training Horses: With the finalization of the USDF Year-End Awards, we’d like to congratulate the owners and breeders on the successes of their horses in training here at Hilltop Farm. Congratulations as well to Michael Bragdell and Jessica Fay; our Hilltop trainers had a wonderful 2015 show season. >>>

Contucci Offspring Earn USDF Awards in 2015: With four out of five of the Contucci offspring earning USDF or All-Breeder awards this year doing so under junior or amateur riders, this year’s awards certainly reflect the wonderful temperament and rideability we consistently look to Contucci to produce. >>>

USDF Region 1 Championships: It’s been a fantastic show season here at Hilltop Farm and everyone has been looking forward to the USDF Region 1 Championships in Lexington, VA. The temperatures were brisk (to say the least), but the sunny sky and fall foliage made for beautiful horse show weather. >>>

Dressage at Devon 2015: Throughout the years, Dressage at Devon has held the distinction of being one of Team Hilltop’s favorite shows each season, and 2015 has proven no different. It is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with our amazing clientele, new and old friends alike, and serves as a true showcase of the amazing horses the US industry is currently producing. >>>

American Hanoverian Society Inspection: Hilltop Farm was proud to host the American Hanoverian Society Inspection on July 19-20. Judges were Meg Williams, Jürgen Rump, and George Walker. >>>

Dressage at the Park Breed Show: There was a new breed show offered on the 4th of July weekend at the New Jersey Horse Park and we were happy to take part. While it was a smaller show, we hope it will continue to grow as we need more shows for youngsters offered in this region. >>>

Dunmovin’ Dressage Show: Cha Ching HTF (Contucci-Cordoba) and Jessica Fay had a very good outing to the Dunmovin’ Dressage Show June 17th. In their Training Level Test 4 debut, Cha Ching earned a 68.4% which earned 4th place. >>>

Virginia Summer Dressage Breed Show: Quinnten Alston took Relevè HTF (Royal Prince-Cordoba) and Cheap Trick (Contucci-Wonner) down to the Virginia Summer Dressage Breed Show on June 13th. >>>

VADA/NOVA Breed Show: We took three young horses from Hilltop down to Morven Park this week for one of our favorite breed shows each year. The show management always does an excellent job managing this event and it's a relatively close drive for us. >>>

ESDCTA Memorial Day Weekend Breed Show: ESDCTA added in two new Breed Shows over Memorial Day weekend and we were thrilled to take some of the youngsters up to the New Jersey Horse Park for the first breed show of the season. Quinnten Alston had a full plate each day. >>>

Cha Ching HTF Wins First Outing: On Saturday May 9th Jessica Fay, Hilltop's Assistant Trainer, took Cha Ching HTF (Contucci-Cordoba) for his first undersaddle outing at the Dunmovin' Schooling Show. >>>

First Foal at Hilltop: Hilltop Farm is thrilled to announce the arrival of their first foal of the season! A gorgeous Contucci filly was born to Hilltop’s own EM Raj Mahal HTF . >>>

USEF Leading Sire Rankings: Each year we look forward to the release of the finalized USEF Leading Sire Rankings. It is an excellent resource for US stallion owners, breeders, riders, and trainers alike. >>>

Contucci Offspring Earn USDF Awards: Congratulations to all the owners and breeders of the Contucci offspring earning USDF Year End Awards for the 2014 season. The Hilltop-bred and Stephanie McNutt owned, Con Dia (Contucci-Cor Noir) was the highest ranked Contucci offspring in the USDF rankings with a 4th place finish in the USDF Fourth Level Adult Amateur rankings with a median score of 67.436%. >>>

Contucci Offspring At USDF Region 1 Championships: Contucci was represented by three offspring at the USDF Region 1 Championships, all competing at Fourth Level or higher. The 2001 Hanoverian mare Con Dia (Contucci-Cor Noir), bred by Hilltop Farm, owned and ridden by Stephanie McNutt, were very successful at the regional championships. >>>

Chasing Wonder (Contucci-Diwan): Chasing Wonder and rider Wanja Gerlach are capping off their 2014 show season with some very impressive results. At the NEDA Fall Festival, “Chase” debuted in his first Intermediaire I CDI. >>>

Con Dulce FCF (Contucci-Dirk): Congratulations to owner/breeder Janet Stone on Con Dulce’s success at the Border Line Dressage Breed Show. Con Dulce took home a 3rd place ribbon in the 2-Year Old Colts and Geldings with a score of 77.3%. Way to go Con Dulce! >>>

Contucci Offspring At Dressage At Devon: A proven producer of dressage horses, we continue to enjoy watching the young Contucci offspring develop. We were excited to have three offspring join Team Hilltop for Devon. The youngest of the group were Cheap Trick (Contucci-Wonner) and Coach (Contucci-Benneton Dream). >>>

Dressage at Devon Breed Show: Devon is one of our favorite shows and we always look forward to catching up with other breeders, owners, and friends at this historic show. A large group of horses joined us from Hilltop’s Raising Department and Devon Prep Program making this year’s Devon especially busy for Team Hilltop. >>>

ISR/Oldenburg NA Inspection at Hilltop: Hilltop Farm hosted its annual ISR/Oldenburg inspection on August 16th. The judging panel of Ekkehard Brysch, Dieter Felgendreher, and Gary Lawrence had a packed day of horses to evaluate. >>>

AHS Inspection at Hilltop Farm: July 20-21st Hilltop Farm was pleased to host the American Hanoverian Society Inspection & Futurity. Dr. Ludwig Christmann, Volker Ehlers, and Suzanne Quarles made an excellent judging panel and their evaluations of each horse proved extremely valuable to the audience and owners. >>>

Dressage at Lexington Breed Show: The Lexington Breed Show was a fun outing for Team Hilltop. Our handler, Quinnten Alston, took two youngsters from the farm down for the show. Both Relevè HTF (Royal Prince-Cordoba) and Quinzy HTF (Qredit-Cordoba) placed 2nd in their respective age divisions. Quinzy was 3rd in the Filly Championship and Relevè was 5th in the AHS IBC. >>>

Two More Foals: We’re still in the midst of foaling season here at Hilltop Farm and have two more arrivals to announce. On the afternoon of April 23rd, the first foal for Michelle Ryan’s lovely Bahia Breeze (Benetton Dream-Banditentraum) arrived. >>>

2013 Breeders Award Program Winners: Hilltop’s Breeders Awards Program has been in effect since 1996 and we’re happy to see the program growing each year. This unique program was designed to honor our breeders annually for outstanding competitive success with their Hilltop Farm stallion offspring by offering Award Certificates towards future breedings to a Hilltop Farm stallion. >>>

Hilltop Stallions Lead USEF Sire Rankings: Another cornerstone in the Hilltop Farm line-up, Contucci (Caprimond – Lungau) also earned multiple top-25 finishes. Contucci finished the year ranked 21st in the Hunter Sire rankings, 6th in Eventing Sire rankings, 23rd in Dressage Breeding Sire rankings and last but not least 5th in Dressage Sire rankings. >>>

Contucci – 2013 USDF and All-Breeds Awards: The USDF and All-Breeds Awards standing have been finalized and we are thrilled to see so many offspring of Hilltop Farm stallions out and competing. Congratulations to all the owners, breeders, riders, and trainers involved in the success of this group of horses! >>>

Contucci & Hilltop Farm Lead USEF Rankings: The USEF has recently announced their 2005 Champions! Hilltop Farm’s Elite Hanoverian stallion Contucci has earned the title 2005 USEF Leading Sire Dressage Breeding. Further, Jane MacElree/ Hilltop Farm has been awarded the 2005 USEF Leading Owner Dressage Breeding title from the success of the Hilltop bred youngsters in sport. >>>
