2016 Foals

Michelle James of Airdrie, AB is thrilled to announce the arrival of her new Donarweiss filly! Daydream arrived to Michelle’s CWBHA mare Twice Gold on May 13th and Michelle says she is absolutely stunning and will be calling her Dreamy for short. Congratulations!

Val Zeek of Molalla, OR has proudly announced the arrival of Delphinea, a beautiful filly by Donarweiss! Born to her Oldenburg mare Ivy, Val says this may just be her best new arrival yet. Congratulations Val!

2014 Foals

Congratulations to Linden Hall of Lititz, PA on the arrival of her new filly by Donarweiss! Born this month to her Oldenburg mare MJ Blue Eyed Babe (Beau Soleil – Fantast ), Linden says her filly is very smart and athletic.

Congratulations to Victoria McCue of West Chester, PA on the birth of a lovely Donarweiss foal!  This beautiful black foal was born to her Trakehner  mare Havanna’s Orphan Annie (Amethyst – Matador) on May first.  Victoria has decided on the name Havanna Skye.

Rachel Ehrlich of Green Gate Farm is proud to announce the arrival of her new Donarweiss colt! Born to her Hanoverian mare EM Rhapsody (Rascalino - Wesley), this flashy colt is black with four perfectly matched white socks and a big white blaze.  We are excited to see how he develops as he is a half sibling to Sternlicht GGF.  Rachel has decided on the name Dentente GGF.

Paul Welch of Goffstown, NH is pleased to announce the arrival of his new Donarweiss filly! Born to his Holsteiner mare Windchyme (Cor Noir - Northern Flagship XX).

Maria Trongo of West Chester, PA is proud to announce the birth of a Donarweiss colt! Born on April 18th to her Oldenberg mare Glitter Girl (Granulit/Rubenstein I), Maria has decided to name him D’Kraft. Congratulations Maria!

Robin Karlin of Haydenville, MA welcomed a very handsome Donarweiss colt on April 11th. The red bay colt born to Robin’s appaloosa mare Peaches has three flashy white socks and a blaze. Congratulations Robin!

Lauren Dearlove and Denise Williams of Lovettsville, VA are thrilled to welcome their Donarweiss filly born to their Swedish Warmblood mare Ariel on April 2nd!  They have about a month to go before the birth of a Royal Prince foal from their mare Ghlacier (Gold Luck/Pablo). Congratulations Lauren and Denise!

Congratulations to Margo Clegg on her new Donarweiss colt born March 26th! The colt, Alcindor is out of her ISR mare Katmai (Bodernog/Crusader). With a large white blaze, Alcindor is certainly a very handsome boy!

2013 Foals

It’s a Donarweiss colt for Michelle Rooney of Arizona.  Michelle’s Westfalen mare Plum Bayou Morning Glory had a handsome black Donarweiss colt with three white socks and a star.  Typically of the Donarweiss offspring, this little guy is enjoying learning lots of new things like leading, clipping, and picking up his feet.

Congratulations to Erica Foley on the arrival of her pretty Donarweiss filly out of Aurora.  The filly, named Demeter, is refined and pretty with two matching hind socks and a big star and stripe.

Another flashy foal to Donarweiss’s credit – Ilona English’s Pointmaker mare Pastora delivered a healthy Donarweiss colt with four whites and star.  He’s been named Denali and is already proving to be quite athletic bouncing around the stall.

It’s a Donarweiss colt for Natalia Raphael! Natalia’s mare Savannah delivered a handsome bay colt with two matching hind socks and a blaze. Both mare and foal are doing well.  Congratulations Natalia!

Another flashy colt for Donarweiss! Fraulein (Festrausch – Del Piero) delivered a healthy black colt with blaze and two hind socks for owner/breeder Kathy Jackson.  Fraulien spent some of her time as a young horse in our Raising Program and we are thrilled we could be a part of her first breeding.  Congratulations Kathy!

Donarweiss Foal Announcements’s first filly of 2013 has arrived! Kirsten Miller’s mare Brio delivered a healthy black filly with two hind socks. Both mare and foal are doing well.  Congratulations Kirsten!

The first Donarweiss foal of the season has arrived.  Anne-Marie Gagnon’s mare Winrianna (Winterprinz – Cicero) had a strong black colt.   Anne-Marie has named him MG-Dom Perignon.  Congratulations!

By Chance Dressage I & II: Despite a dismal weather forecast, Jessica Fay and Natalie Wolfer headed off to another horse show this weekend. The wonderful volunteers and management at By Chance Farm had a big job with all the rain, but did the best possible job coping with the conditions and thankfully by Sunday we were all drying out a bit. >>>

USEF Sire Rankings: The United States Equestrian Federation compiles annual Sire Rankings based on competition results of recorded offspring. With the results finalized the end of December, we’re excited to share the achievements for the current, and a few former, stallions at Hilltop Farm. >>>

Dressage At Devon: All of us here at Team Hilltop enjoyed another successful year at Dressage at Devon 2016. With the help of King Santacruz, Quinnten and Michael presented a number of Hilltop-sired or client-owned horses to top placings over the course of the week. Despite the usual small bit of rainy weather, we were happy to catch up with clients, friends, and even welcome a few new faces into the Hilltop barns. >>>
