Don Principe News

Drummer Boy (Don Principe-Winterprinz)

Don Principe gelding Drummer Boy was bred prior to Don Principe standing here at Hilltop, so it was especially exciting for owner Madeline Bletzacker to share an update.  Bred by Diane Vickery, Drummer Boy has been a very consistent eventing mount for Madeline.  In 2013, Drummer Boy was the USEA Hanoverian Award winner for Beginner Novice, commandingly winning with over twice the points as the Reserve Champion horse.  This past season Drummer Boy once again earned the USEA Hanoverian Award, this time for Novice Level.   He also ranked 2nd in the USEA 2014 Novice Leaderboard and helped Madeline earn a 1st place ranking on the USEA Master Novice Rider Leaderboard for the 2014 season.  Drummer Boy and Madeline attended one dressage show this summer as well, receiving the Hanoverian High Point Award of the show for his First Level test.  Congratulations on a wonderful show season Madeline and Drummer Boy!
