Experienced Stallion Handler Needed

Hilltop Farm is looking for an experienced stallion handler.  Duties will include primary daily care of a number of stallions including feeding, stall cleaning, grooming, and turnout.  Handling both resident and visiting stallions, of a variety of breeds, in the breeding shed for collection is the most important element to the job. 

Quiet horsemanship appreciated.  The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and communications skills and enjoy working in a team environment.

Internship Opportunities available year-round.

We offer a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in a variety of fields. We offer internships in both hands-on youngstock/broodmare care, training, and management (including foaling and breeding), as well as administrative internships focusing on marketing, stallion promotion, and event management. Commitment of 3-4 months required. Small stipend and housing included. Riding is not part of either internship, but there may be an opportunity to bring your own horse.
