Donna's Fancy

16.1H | 2010 | Hanoverian | Mare
(Donarweiss GGF x Federleicht/Wummestern )

Elegant registered Hanoverian Mare by Donarweiss X MSB Federleicht/Wummestern. This beautiful mare has already demonstrated her potential as a dressage sport horse prospect. In 2012, as a two year old, Donna’s Fancy was the Reserve Champion of the Raleigh Summer Dressage II Sport Horse Breed Show.Scoring an 8.5 on conformation,8.8 on walk and trot and 8.8 on general impression; she scored an 87.1 total from Judge Liselotte Fore. In doing so, she qualified for the USDF Breeder’s Championship at Devon and defeated a large group of three year old mares. At the 2012 AHS Inspection, Fancy won the Two Year Old Futurity Class. This mare has a beautiful expression and face, great shoulder, and is well balanced. Her quiet temperament and unflappable nature will make for a great amateur prospect. Overall, she is a very balanced and a powerful mover. The canter has lots of air time, and big overstep in the trot and walk. A very elastic mover with good articulation of the joints and uphill balance. She is easy to manage and is currently green under saddle. Fancy leads, clips, ties, loads, trailers, and stands quietly for the farrier. Loves people and attention. Very kind temperament. This beautiful filly is a future star waiting to be transformed into that special dressage or hunter mount. Currently 16.1 Hands. Correct conformation and legs. Half sister scored in the mid 70’s at Training Level. Very people oriented. Thick flowing mane and tail and refinement like Donarweiss.

Fancy is by the Grand Prix dressage stallion Donarweiss GGF (DeNiro-Hohenstein). Donarweiss was Champion of his 30-day test, earning all scores of 8 or higher and was rewarded a 9 for rideability. Donarweiss has won USDF Regional Championships, multiple USDF/AHS All-Breeds Awards, and in his first season at Grand Prix had a median score over 65%. Donarweiss is now ridden by the FEI Young Rider Genay Vaughn and in their first season together finished 3rd at the USEF National Championships for FEI Young Riders and earned the Team Silver Medal at the North American Young Rider Championships. They are currently winning at Intermediaire II and in the Brentina Cup divisions (Young Rider Grand Prix).

Dam scored mid 60’s at First level, scores of 70% at Training level. Damsire, Wummestern, competed successfully through PSG and has produced numerous successful dressage horses and hunters. Donarweiss’s sire is De Niro, in 2012, he was ranked #1 in dressage breeding sires by the WBFSH. His great grandsire is the legendary Donnerhall, also ranked in the top ten by WBFSH.

Currently working nicely under saddle.  Could be ready to show soon.  Trot shows great cadence and balance and canter is very ground covering with lots of air time.  This is a beautiful mare and is very uncomplicated to handle and ride. A super dressage prospect. Due to owner’s health issues she was started late and not ridden very much but is starting to develop very nicely.   Her athleticism will enable her to develop quickly.  A great amateur prospect.

Price: $23,000 (price to increase with training)
