Quincy (Qredit- Prince of Prussia): Quincy (Qredit x Facet's Violet/Prince of Prussia) owned by Kathy Spano and bred by Irena Coz Lucas, was entered into the Premium Mare Book at her recent ISR/Oldenburg inspection. She received a 76 on her Mare Performance Test with ISR/Oldenburg, earning her first star in the Star Awards program. Congratulations! >>>

USDF Region 8 Championships: This year we again traveled to the USDF Region 8 Championships in Saugerties, NY. At the large HITS facility, there were over 1600 rides scheduled over the four days of competition – a massive show! Jessica Fay has had a fantastic season with her horses and Regionals ended on a high note for the 3 mares she qualified. >>>

VADA/NOVA Fall Dressage Show: It was a beautiful weekend in Virginia for the VADA/NOVA Fall Show. Michael took Kaja Brix’s Feuerbach out for a warm-up before Regionals. They won both their Intermediate I tests with a 66.9% and a 69.7%. >>>

2017 USEF Young/Developing Horse Championships: The USEF Young and Developing Horse Championships remain a highlight of our show plans every year. With only the top 15 of each age group invited to the Finals, the competition is intense yet the sense of comradery and enthusiasm is one of the best of all the shows. >>>

2017 ISR/OldenburgNA Inspection: Our ISR/Oldenburg Inspection is at a close. Two fun-filled days catching up with so many friends and breeders we get to see every year. One stallion was licensed - Marydell Farm's Debonair MF (Doctor Wendell MF-Rotspon). >>>

Michael Qualifies Six for USEF Young/Developing Championships: Michael Bragdell succeeded in his big crazy goal for the year! The ranking lists have closed and he has qualified SIX horses for the US Equestrian Young/Developing Horse Championships Lamplight Equestrian Center August 24-27. >>>

2017 AHS/ARS Inspection: We had a fantastic inspection this past week with an overwhelming super quality in the foals. The event started however with two stallions being accepted for AHS/ARS. >>>

Sussex Dressage Show: The heatwave isn't slowing us down! While everyone at the farm was busy with inspection prep, Michael traveled up to the Sussex Dressage Show in New Jersey. Friday was a super start with the horses. >>>

Dressage at Stone Tavern II: Jess and Michael had a great show in New Jersey this past weekend with a lot of important results. Boxster A (Bugatti-Weltbekkant), bred/owned by Iris Aberbach, won both his FEI Test of Choice classes and was High-Score FEI on Saturday. >>>

Dressage at Blue Goose: Congratulations to Jess Fay and Qindle HTF (Qredit-Royal Prince) on a strong showing at Blue Goose Dressage. >>>

Qredit Foal Announcements: 07-06-2017: The stork has arrived for Susan McAdoo of White Pine, TN! A lovely Qredit filly was born on June 6th to her Arabian mare Mareea, Susan says that she is a gorgeous big girl and that she is absolutely in love with her. Congratulations, Susan! >>>

ESDCTA Memorial Day Weekend Shows: Team Hilltop had a super time at the ESDCTA Memorial Day Weekend Shows at the New Jersey Horse Park. It’s apparent they’ve put a lot of work into managing the footing from previous years and the volunteers are wonderful. >>>

VADA/NOVA Spring Show: April 8th-9th saw the first of our dressage shows for the Hilltop Team up north. Morven Park is always a favorite destination for us and was a perfect outing for Sternlicht and Qredit to make a move up. >>>

USEF Sire Rankings: The United States Equestrian Federation compiles annual Sire Rankings based on competition results of recorded offspring. With the results finalized the end of December, we’re excited to share the achievements for the current, and a few former, stallions at Hilltop Farm. >>>

2016 US Dressage Finals: What better end to the 2016 show season but to wrap it up with the US Dressage Finals in Lexington, KY. Now in its 4th year, this show just gets better and better thanks to an experienced staff, enthusiastic volunteers, and generous supporters. Thank you ALL who make this show happen! >>>

USDF Year-End Awards: Team Hilltop had an excellent show season and we’re celebrating many USDF Year-End Awards for both our own and client horses. Wonderful job Michael, Jess, & Quinnten. Congratulations to all the owners & breeders! >>>

2016 USDF Regional Championships: This year, we made the choice to travel to Saugerties, NY for the USDF Region 8 Finals. The venue is fantastic at the HITS showgrounds and the NEDA team, as always, run a wonderful show. >>>

Dressage At Devon: All of us here at Team Hilltop enjoyed another successful year at Dressage at Devon 2016. With the help of King Santacruz, Quinnten and Michael presented a number of Hilltop-sired or client-owned horses to top placings over the course of the week. Despite the usual small bit of rainy weather, we were happy to catch up with clients, friends, and even welcome a few new faces into the Hilltop barns. >>>

Murphy’s Sporthorses ISR/Oldenburg Inspection: Breeder Irena Coz Lucas of Kastel Coz Sporthorses had lots exciting inspection results to share after attending the Murphy’s Sporthorses ISR/Oldenburg Inspection in Ramona, CA. Irena attended the inspection with 3 Hilltop-bred offspring. >>>

Quotogenic (Qredit – Cabaret): Congratulations to Anclaire Spaulding on Quotogenic’s successful 2016 show season! Quotogenic (Qredit x Cara Mia/Cabaret), bred by Meg Sherman, has earned great results showing in-hand this year. At the Estes Park Dressage I Breed Show, Quotogenic handily won her 2-Year Old Fillies class. >>>

VADA/NOVA Autumn Show: The VADA/NOVA Autumn Show over at Morven Park enjoyed perfect early fall weather, with sunny skies and pleasant temps. Jess Fay took out Hilltop’s 3-year old mare Qindle HTF (Qredit-Royal Prince). >>>

Dressage at Stone Tavern: The Stone Tavern Dressage Show & Breed Show filled up the Labor Day weekend for Team Hilltop. Jessica Fay showed Beth Gildea's 4-year old Holsteiner mare Elizabeth's Elan (Quite Easy-Calimero) to wins in Training Level Test 3 & First Level Test 1. >>>

Lamplight Dressage: Michael’s show schedule was a little complicated with the Young Horse Championships in August, so the simplest solution meant that Qredit went along for the trailer ride and competed at the Lamplight Dressage Shows that were held concurrently. >>>

ISR/OldenburgNA Inspection: Our annual ISR/OldenburgNA Inspection was held August 12-13th and we saw a large, diverse group of good quality horses over the two days. Five stallions were licensed. >>>

Michael Scores Over 80% – twice!: We had a great weekend at the WPDA Summer Sizzler shows on July 30-31. Two of Michael's students reached big milestones. Beth Custalow qualified for the USDF Regional Finals at Fourth Level and Robin Birk won her very first Intermediaire I test with a 64.3%. Congratulations Beth & Robin! >>>

AHS/ARS Inspection: We were happy to welcome back the judges from the American Hanoverian Society/American Rhineland Studbook on July 23-24. >>>

ESDCTA Memorial Day Dressage Shows: Michael Bragdell had outstanding results at the ESDCTA Memorial Day Weekend shows held in Allentown, NJ. He was undefeated on all four of his horses! >>>

VADA/NOVA Spring Dressage Show: There's nothing quite like the first show of the year! Hilltop trainer Jess Faye took two coming 4-year olds to the VADA/NOVA show at Morven Park the weekend of April 9-10. Despite snow, gusting winds up to 50 mph, and a morning temp in the 20's, it was an excellent outing. >>>

Sternlicht & Qredit Close Out Our Florida Season: Our Florida season wrapped up in a winning fashion at the Global Dressage #7 show in Wellington. Qredit placed 1st & 2nd in his Developing PSG classes with scores of 70% and 68.4% over the two days. >>>

Qredit Wins Intermediaire I Debut: The Florida show season is in full swing and Michael took Sternlicht and Qredit out again this past weekend. Sternlicht has his second weekend at Third Level and earned scores of 69% & 71%. >>>

The Show Season Begins: The Gold Coast Opener in Wellington, Florida was held January 21-24 and marks Michael first show of the year. Qredit was 6th in the Prix St. Georges Open and won Sunday’s Developing Horse Prix St. Georges with two soft, flowing tests. >>>

Qwin (Qredit-Wolkentanz I): Congratulations to owner Gloria Grim and breeder Angela Mirarchi on Qredit colt Qwin (Qredit x Weisling/Wolkentanz I) year-end awards! Qwin earned a 4th place finish in the 2015 American Hanoverian Society Sport Horse Breeding Awards for 2 & 3-Year Old Colts/Geldings. Over the 2015 show season, Qwin secured a median score of 76.5%. >>>

Qwin (Qredit – Wolkentanz): Congratulations to breeder Angela Mirarchi and owner Gloria Thomas Grim on Qwin’s (Qredit x Wiesling/Wolkentanz) success during the 2015 show season. Qwin end the 2015 competition season with a 7th place ranking on the USDF Dressage Sport Horse Breeding Ranking List for 2-Year Old Colts and Geldings. Good boy Qwin! >>>

Qredit Offspring Earn USDF Awards in 2015: We’re so pleased to see Qredit’s early foal crops consistently show well at the breed shows! Two-year olds Qindle HTF and Qwin were particular highlights in this year’s USDF Awards. Hilltop Farm’s Qredit-Royal Prince filly, Qindle, finished the season ranked in 8th place with a median score above 77%. >>>

USDF Region 1 Championships: It’s been a fantastic show season here at Hilltop Farm and everyone has been looking forward to the USDF Region 1 Championships in Lexington, VA. The temperatures were brisk (to say the least), but the sunny sky and fall foliage made for beautiful horse show weather. >>>

Dressage at Devon 2015: Throughout the years, Dressage at Devon has held the distinction of being one of Team Hilltop’s favorite shows each season, and 2015 has proven no different. It is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with our amazing clientele, new and old friends alike, and serves as a true showcase of the amazing horses the US industry is currently producing. >>>

Qwin (Qredit – Wolkentanz I): Two-year old Qredit gelding, Qwin, received great results at Devon with his new owner and handler Gloria Grim. Qwin was bred by Angela Mirarchi. Despite the rainy weather, Qwin placed 4th in the Two-Year Old Colts & Geldings class on Tuesday morning. Later that day, he finished 7th in the USDF East Coast Colt Final. Congratulations Gloria! >>>

Qredit & Witness Turn Up the Heat at the WPDA Summer Sizzler: Michael had a fantastic showing August 15-16 at the WPDA Summer Sizzler in Quentin, PA. Hilltop’s Qredit and Witness were both in top form for the weekend, winning all of their classes as well as High-Score Breed Awards from the GOV and KWPN respectively. >>>

GMHA Dressage Days: Michael made the long drive up to Vermont for the weekend of July 24-26 to show at GMHA in Woodstock, VT. On Friday, he competed in his first Grand Prix with Witness Hilltop and placed second with the solid score of 66%. >>>

American Hanoverian Society Inspection: Hilltop Farm was proud to host the American Hanoverian Society Inspection on July 19-20. Judges were Meg Williams, Jürgen Rump, and George Walker. >>>

Windy Hollow Hunt/Sussex Dressage: Michael Bragdell traveled up to Augusta, NJ for the Windy Hollow Hunt/Sussex Dressage Shows. Qredit Hilltop scored a 66.69% in his Friday warm-up and was then 2nd in Saturday's Developing Prix St. Georges with a 70.147%. >>>

2015 Qredit x Wega WF Filly (Qredit – Weltmeyer): Congratulations to Andrea Nuccio on the excellent inspection results of her Qredit filly. Andrea’s Qredit filly out of Wega WF (Weltmeyer -Eisenherz I) was named Top Foal of the Hilton Farm AHS Inspection. >>>

Qredentials (Qredit-Rousseau): Jennifer Hoffman’s 2015 Qredit colt Qredentials (Qredit-Rousseau- Riverman) was awarded Premium status at the Turning Point Farm GOV inspection. >>>

Qonquest SV (Qredit x Bijou/Bruderherz): Excellent news from owner Ashleigh Wedding on the results of her filly’s GOV inspection! Qonquest SV (Qredit-Bruderherz), bred by Grassfield Sport Horses, earned Premium status with the GOV and many complements from the judges. >>>

Qwin (Qredit-Wolkentanz): We were very excited to hear how pleased Angela Mirarchi was with her Qredit colt after the VADA/NOVA Dressage & Breed Show. Two year old Qredit gelding, Qwin (Qredit-Wolkentanz), had a second place finish in a large 2-Year Old class with a 78%. >>>

ESDCTA Memorial Day Weekend Breed Show: ESDCTA added in two new Breed Shows over Memorial Day weekend and we were thrilled to take some of the youngsters up to the New Jersey Horse Park for the first breed show of the season. Quinnten Alston had a full plate each day. >>>

Vada/Nova Spring Dressage: After such a long, cold winter we were thrilled to see the arrival of spring and the first horse show of the season at Morven Park in Leesburg, VA. The VADA/NOVA Spring Dressage Show was held April 4-5 and Michael had an excellent start. >>>

A Qredit Colt at Hilltop: The stork has had a very busy few days here at Hilltop with the delivery of all these boys! Hilltop’s own Hanoverian mare Chiquita HTF (Contucci-Cordoba) presented us with a gorgeous Qredit colt on April 25th. >>>

USEF Leading Sire Rankings: Each year we look forward to the release of the finalized USEF Leading Sire Rankings. It is an excellent resource for US stallion owners, breeders, riders, and trainers alike. >>>

2014 AHS Futurity Results: The 2014 AHS National Futurity results are posted and we’re very excited to see multiple Hilltop Farm offspring in the Top-Ten of both divisions. Yearling filly Releve HTF (Royal Prince-Cordoba), bred and owned by Hilltop Farm, took top honors in the Yearling Futurity with a score of 78.5. >>>

Qwin (Qredit-Wolkentanz): Yearling Qredit gelding, Qwin achieved excellent year end results from dressage breed shows and the AHS Futurity program. In the USDF Dressage Sport Horse Breeding Horse of the Year rankings for Yearling Colts and Geldings, Qwin finished in 3rd place with a median score of 76.1%. >>>

CBLM Championships & VADA Fall Show: This weekend Michael Bragdell headed down to the CBLM Championships & VADA Fall Show in Lexington, VA. Balissa HTF (Bugatti-Contucci) tied for 1st in her Third Level Test 1 on Friday with a 66.184% and improved her score in Saturday's Third Level Championship with a 67%. >>>

Q Alpha Leonis (Qredit-Le Santo): Congratulations to breeder Dierdre Malburg on her Qredit colt Q Alpha Leonis “Alphie” earning Premium status with ISR/Oldenburg. Alphie received an overall score of 8.0, with an 8.1 for overall impression. >>>

Qredit Offspring Win at Devon: Qredit was well represented at Dressage at Devon with four 2014 foals and one yearling colt. The highlight of the group was Quartet GSH (Qredit-Arrian), the 2014 filly earned impressive scores of up to 86%. Quartet is owned and bred by Michelle Reilly. >>>

Quartet Wins Big at Devon: The weanling filly Quartet (Qredit-Arrian) took center stage during Dressage at Devon and brought home some huge scores and wins for breeder/owner Michelle Reilly. >>>

Dressage at Devon Breed Show: Devon is one of our favorite shows and we always look forward to catching up with other breeders, owners, and friends at this historic show. A large group of horses joined us from Hilltop’s Raising Department and Devon Prep Program making this year’s Devon especially busy for Team Hilltop. >>>

Qrimson Skye (Qredit-Fair Skies): Qrimson Skye was awarded Silver Premium status at her RPSI inspection. Her movement score was a highlight earning an 8.2, the highest movement score of the day. >>>

Qreme de la Qreme (Qredit x Silver Moon’s Donnerlight): Congratulations to breeder Cambria Moon on her Qredit filly’s inspection results. Qreme de la Qreme attended the Conyers, GA ISR/Oldenburg Inspection and received Premium status with an overall score of 8.1, with a highlight of 8.2 for movement. >>>

Qonnor (Qredit-Gatsby): Owner/breeder Toni Kammers shared, “Qonnor's ISR/Oldenburg inspection was August 10th (North Plains, Oregon). He was a premium colt and also was site champion. He was the best colt you could have asked for. He takes everything in stride and has such a great mind. >>>

Querida (Qredit-Dimension): Heidi Williams’s Qredit filly, Querida, took home the honors of Premium Filly and High Point Champion at the Kansas City ISR/Oldenburg Inspection on August 13th. Congratulations to owner/breeder Heidi! >>>

ISR/Oldenburg NA Inspection at Hilltop: Hilltop Farm hosted its annual ISR/Oldenburg inspection on August 16th. The judging panel of Ekkehard Brysch, Dieter Felgendreher, and Gary Lawrence had a packed day of horses to evaluate. >>>

RPSI Stallion Approvals: Five new stallions are now approved RPSI! We were pleased to welcome the Rheinland Phalz-Saar International registry to Hilltop Farm on August 6th. >>>

AHS Inspection at Hilltop Farm: July 20-21st Hilltop Farm was pleased to host the American Hanoverian Society Inspection & Futurity. Dr. Ludwig Christmann, Volker Ehlers, and Suzanne Quarles made an excellent judging panel and their evaluations of each horse proved extremely valuable to the audience and owners. >>>

Dressage at Lexington Breed Show: The Lexington Breed Show was a fun outing for Team Hilltop. Our handler, Quinnten Alston, took two youngsters from the farm down for the show. Both Relevè HTF (Royal Prince-Cordoba) and Quinzy HTF (Qredit-Cordoba) placed 2nd in their respective age divisions. Quinzy was 3rd in the Filly Championship and Relevè was 5th in the AHS IBC. >>>

PVDA Ride for Life: Michael Bragdell captured six wins in six classes at last weekend’s PVDA Ride for Life show. Qredit only competed in one test, but made it a winning one with a score of 67.76% in Saturday’s Third Level Test 1. Iris Aberbach’s Bugatti gelding, Boxster A, captured wins in Fourth Level Tests 1 & 2 with scores over 70% each day. >>>

Culpepper Breed Show: While the Hilltop Farm horses didn’t travel to Culpepper this year, Quinnten Alston still went down to handle for a number of clients. As usual, the show was well run and the volunteers were wonderful. >>>

VADA/NOVA Breed Show: Congratulations Quinnten Alston on a wonderful first show as Hilltop's Handler! The VADA/NOVA Breed Show at Morven Park today was our first in-hand show of the year and the horses all came home with strong placings. >>>

Hilltop Wraps Up Our 2014 Foaling Season: May 12th and 13th brought more healthy foals here to Hilltop Farm. On Thursday night, Melissa Stubenberg’s mare Wraina (Obadiah-Sir Wimborne xx) delivered her third foal – a very flashy Royal Prince colt that is a full sibling to the Premium Filly and Devon winner that she had last year. >>>

Lexington Spring Dressage: A busy week of horse shows continued for us with the Lexington Spring Dressage Show. Showing stallions while there is a breed show also running on the show grounds can be a bit of a challenge at times, but Qredit and Sternlicht stayed focused on Michael and the work throughout the weekend. Saturday began with Qredit winning his Third Level Test 2 class with a 68.4%. Qredit’s power and expression catches spectators’ attention wherever he goes and it’s fun to watch a crowd follow him from warm-up to the show ring. >>>

Qredit Wins 70-Day Stallion Test: What a way to end the year! The 2012 North American Stallion Test just finished this weekend and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results for Qredit when he finished as the Dressage Champion & Overall Champion at the the 2012 70-Day North American >>>

CDCTA Dressage at Morven Park: On the weekend of May 3rd & 4th, Hilltop’s trainer Michael Bragdell once again made the drive to Morven Park. Only taking two horses with him, it turned into a very special weekend. First up was Iris Aberbach’s wonderful Bugatti gelding, Boxster A. Michael’s been developing Boxster since he came to him for starting. Saturday’s Fourth 3 test was steady and harmonious and won the class with a 69.875%. On Sunday, Boxster competed in his first Prix St. Georges test – those of you who’ve developed horses up the levels know how emotionally rewarding it is to see them take those first steps as an “FEI horse.” >>>

First Foal of the Season at Hilltop Farm: While our breeders have been sharing the most wonderful photos of their new foals, we feel like we’ve been waiting forever for the first foal of the season to be born at Hilltop. Finally, on Monday night we welcomed a handsome colt by Qredit and out of our treasured Grand Prix mare Uforia (Negro – Fruhling). >>>

Great Start to the Season at Morven Park: Michael Bragdell kicked off Hilltop's show season with a fantastic weekend at Morven Park. The show by the numbers: three horses, six classes, five firsts (one second), and two High-Score awards. Ownerer/breeder Iris Aberbach had cause to celebrate when Boxster A handily won both his Fourth Level Tests including 73.6% in Sunday’s Fourth 2. Morven Park was Qredit Hilltop’s first outing since last year’s USEF Young Horse Championships in August. >>>

Hilltop Stallions Lead USEF Sire Rankings: Another cornerstone in the Hilltop Farm line-up, Contucci (Caprimond – Lungau) also earned multiple top-25 finishes. Contucci finished the year ranked 21st in the Hunter Sire rankings, 6th in Eventing Sire rankings, 23rd in Dressage Breeding Sire rankings and last but not least 5th in Dressage Sire rankings. >>>

Qredit Wins the 70-Day Stallion Test: What a way to end the year! The 2012 North American Stallion Test just finished this weekend and we couldn't be more pleased with the results for Qredit when he finished as the Dressage Champion & Overall Champion at the the 2012 70-Day North American Stallion Test! He earned a 135.93 for his Dressage Index (1st), 113.16 for a Jumping Index (6th), and 126.59 Overall (1st). >>>

Hemmingway & Qredit on Top at the USEF National Championships: The Lamplight Equestrian Center showgrounds were an exceptional stage for the USEF Young Horse National Championships this past weekend and we could not be happier with the performances of Hemmingway (Hofrat – Archipel) and Qredit Hilltop (Quaterback – Dream of Glory). These two US-bred stallions put in solid performances in the warm-up class, but really stepped up in the Four-Year Old Championship class with some of their best tests to-date and they finished being named Champion and Reserve Champion for the USEF Four-Year Old division. >>>
