Under The Radar (Riverman-Bar S Tex): Congratulations to Holly Becker! Holly’s homebred mare Under The Radar (Riverman x Leprechaun’s Molly Brown/Bar S Tex), aka “Rapid,” won the Novice Level Championship at the Area XI Eventing Championships. The 6-year old mare was ridden to the first place finish by Sarah Berkowitz. Way to go Rapid! >>>

Cascade (Riverman-Argus): We just received super news from breeder Irena Coz Lucas. Cascade (Riverman x Hobby/Argus) received a 74 on her Mare Performance Test and is upgrading to the Premium Mare Book for ISR/Oldenburg. Cascade’s MPT results earned Cascade her first star in the ISR/Oldenburg Star Awards program. >>>

By Chance Dressage I & II: Despite a dismal weather forecast, Jessica Fay and Natalie Wolfer headed off to another horse show this weekend. The wonderful volunteers and management at By Chance Farm had a big job with all the rain, but did the best possible job coping with the conditions and thankfully by Sunday we were all drying out a bit. >>>

Riverman Foal Announcements: 07-06-2017: Congratulations to Kathy LaCroix of Aberdeen, MD on the birth of her new Riverman filly! Arriving on June 16th to her TB mare Twilight Reign, Kathy says her new foal took her time coming, 361 days before she made her grand entrance but she was well worth the wait. >>>

USEF Sire Rankings: The United States Equestrian Federation compiles annual Sire Rankings based on competition results of recorded offspring. With the results finalized the end of December, we’re excited to share the achievements for the current, and a few former, stallions at Hilltop Farm. >>>

2016 USDF Regional Championships: This year, we made the choice to travel to Saugerties, NY for the USDF Region 8 Finals. The venue is fantastic at the HITS showgrounds and the NEDA team, as always, run a wonderful show. >>>

Ripken HTF (Riverman-Royal Prince): Always a farm favorite as a young horse, it’s exciting to see Ripken (Riverman x Raja/Royal Prince) thriving as a show hunter with owner Chistine Steenman and rider Amanda Steege. Ripken HTF has been adding lots of accomplishments to his show record this season, including a top 20 finish in the competitive Pre-Green Incentive Championship earlier this year. >>>

Elieta (Riverman – Ariadus): Riverman daughter, Elieta (Riverman x Uniqueka/Ariadus) has had a summer packed full of exciting accomplishments. The 4-year old mare completed her AHHA Mare Performance Test with flying colors. >>>

Dressage at Stone Tavern: The Stone Tavern Dressage Show & Breed Show filled up the Labor Day weekend for Team Hilltop. Jessica Fay showed Beth Gildea's 4-year old Holsteiner mare Elizabeth's Elan (Quite Easy-Calimero) to wins in Training Level Test 3 & First Level Test 1. >>>

Riverman Yearlings Shine in Future Event Horse classes at Loch Moy: The Maryland Horse Trials at Loch Moy Farm, held July 8th, offered qualifying classes for Future Event Horses. We’re excited to see participation in this program grow over the past few years. It was especially rewarding to see two Riverman offspring take both first and second place in the Yearling Future Event Horse Class. >>>

Dressage at Blue Goose: July 6th Jessica Fay popped over to Blue Goose Stables for a USDF-recognized show. With her own mare Veraki (Riverman) she placed 2nd in the Intermediaire I and they are now qualified for the USDF Regional Championships. >>>

Blue Goose Dressage Show: May 18th saw a break in the rainy weather – just in time for us to travel over to Blue Goose Stables in Cochranville, PA for their dressage show. Assistant Trainer Jessica Fay started the day off well with her own Veraki (by Riverman) placing 2nd in the Prix St. Georges with a 64.2% in their first outing of the year. >>>

River Runner (Riverman-Absolute) Earns All-Breed Award: Congratulations to Caitlin Couch and River Runner (ds. Absolute) on earning an ISR/Oldenburg All-Breeds Award! Caitlin and River Runner, bred by Marty Detering, finished the 2015 show season with a Reserve Championship All-Breeds Award for Junior/Young Rider Training Level. Good boy River Runner! >>>

Diamond River (Riverman – Track Dance xx): We just received a glowing update on Abigail Friedman's Riverman gelding Diamond River (Riverman-Track Dance xx). Abigail shared that Diamond was HITS Circuit Champion in the 3'3" Performance Hunters, earned High Point and Division Championship awards in the Adult Amateur Hunters. >>>

Ribbons & Lace (Riverman-Art Deco): Congratulations to breeder Makendra Burns on Ribbons & Lace’s (Riverman x Lacey/Art Deco) excellent inspection results. Ribbons & Lace, aka Roxette, earned an overall score of 8.5 and the Site Championship at her RPSI foal inspection. >>>

Revel In Soul (Riverman – JF Shadai): The inspection results from around the country are starting to roll in! Breeder Andrea Manley shared the exciting news that her Riverman colt Revel In Soul, out of the Anglo-Arabian mare Shadai's China Moon, was named a Foal of Distinction at his GOV inspection. >>>

Zloty KF (Riverman –Galoubet A): We love hearing about ‘grandchildren’ from the stallions too and take great happiness in the legacy the Riverman daughters are creating. >>>

USEF Leading Sire Rankings: Each year we look forward to the release of the finalized USEF Leading Sire Rankings. It is an excellent resource for US stallion owners, breeders, riders, and trainers alike. >>>

Fleecework’s Royal (Riverman-Corofino): The Riverman offspring truly shine as three-day eventing horses and Fleecework’s Royal certainly showcased this at the 2014 West Coast Young Event Horse Championships where she was Champion of her division. >>>

Remise (Riverman-Meistersinger): The 2004 Riverman mare, Remise earned an excellent 3rd place finish in the GOV All-Breeds Awards for Second Level Adult Amateur. Remise is owned and ridden by her breeder Eric Grimm. Congratulations Eric, such a wonderful accomplishment for your homebred! >>>

Water Lilly (Riverman-Launch A Leader xx): Riverman mare, Water Lilly took home top honors at the Rising Star Farm Holsteiner inspection. Water Lilly was Reserve Champion mare of the inspection with a score of 48 Bonits. She also finished as Champion Mare of the Mare Performance Test. >>>

Valeda (Riverman-Galoubet A): Great update and photo from Amanda Chrise and Valeda (Riverman-Galoubet A), "Our 2014 show season came to a close with our first reserve champion in the Large Junior Hunters, qualifying us for the 2015 Junior Hunter Finals! >>>

Riverboat Gambler WRF (Riverman-Thunder Rumble xx): Riverboat Gambler WRF, by Riverman and out of the Thoroughbred mare Bella Gabriella, was honored as a Premium Foal and Site Champion Foal at the Chestnut Lawn ISR/Oldenburg Inspection. Last year, Bella Gabriella’s Royal Prince colt earned the same honors. Congratulations to breeder Lauren Seitz, way to go! >>>

World Equestrian Games: The World Equestrian Games is certainly the highlight competition for this season with the very best competitors in each discipline, including reining, driving, vaulting, and the para-equestrian competitions. It’s always interesting to evaluate such a wide demographic of bloodlines. >>>

ISR/Oldenburg NA Inspection at Hilltop: Hilltop Farm hosted its annual ISR/Oldenburg inspection on August 16th. The judging panel of Ekkehard Brysch, Dieter Felgendreher, and Gary Lawrence had a packed day of horses to evaluate. >>>

Valeda (Riverman x Aschenputtle/Galoubet A): It is always nice to connect with owners of all the stallions' offspring but it is especially fun to reconnect with Hilltop-bred horses. Valeda (Riverman - Galoubet A) is now showing with a new owner and rider, Amanda Chrise. The pair is having a very successful first season together in the Large Junior Hunters and 3'6" Equitation. >>>

2013 Breeders Award Program Winners: Hilltop’s Breeders Awards Program has been in effect since 1996 and we’re happy to see the program growing each year. This unique program was designed to honor our breeders annually for outstanding competitive success with their Hilltop Farm stallion offspring by offering Award Certificates towards future breedings to a Hilltop Farm stallion. >>>

Riverman is Top US Jumper Sire: Hilltop Farm is excited to share the news that Riverman (Redfort - Landego) is once again being honored with the USEF South Pacific Award, which is given annually to the leading US-based jumper sire based on the success of their offspring in USEF competitions. The South Pacific award is donated by Joan Irvine Smith and is named after her international Grand Prix competitor and sire South Pacific. This is the third consecutive year that Riverman has earned this title! >>>

Riverman – 2013 USDF and All-Breeds Awards: The USDF and All-Breeds Awards standing have been finalized and we are thrilled to see so many offspring of Hilltop Farm stallions out and competing. 2013 WBFSH Sire Rankings: Each year breeders eagerly await the release of the World Breeding Federation’s Sire Rankings and this year we see a number of the stallions within the Hilltop Farm Stallion Line-up breaking into these prestigious rankings. In the dressage standings, Negro (Ferro-Variant) reaches the Top Ten standings for the first year thanks to the international success of Valegro, Nintendo, Numberto, Netto, and Unico G. >>>

Though is career focus was in the dressage arena, we see Riverman offspring excelling in the upper levels of almost every sport including dressage, eventing, combined driving, and most recently Riverman offspring are shining in show jumping. We were honored to receive the news that Riverman has been selected as the USEF/PHR South Pacific Award Winner for the second consecutive year. >>>
