CON DIA
2001 Oldenburg Mare
Chestnut, 16.3 Hands
Opportunities to purchase mares
of this quality don't often come around. The 2005 Reserve
Grand Champion of Dressage at Devon, Con Dia (Contucci - Cor
Noir - Gotthardsen) represents two generations of the very
best of Hilltop's breeding program.
Contucci
(Caprimond
- Lungau)
is one of the top dressage
sires in the US, including siring the 2006 & 2007 USEF FEI Young
Horse National Champions BW-Calista and Cabana Boy.
Contucci's offspring consistently win at inspections and in the
show ring and he is known for producing type and rideability.
Con Dia's dam,
Cor Dia (Cor Noir -
Gotthardsen) was a top broodmare at Hilltop Farm for many
years. Her offspring consistently exhibited her good bone
and athleticism.
Con Dia is a
Premium mare with ISR/Oldenburg, receiving the remarkable score
of 115 pts. She is also approved in the Main Studbook for
the American Hanoverian Society.
She was shown in
2005 both in-hand and under saddle (Training Level) and
consistently won her classes. 2005 Dressage at Devon was a
particular highlight when she won the ISR/Oldenburg class, 4
year old & older Maiden Mare, the Mare Championship, the USDF/Cosequin
Mare Championship, and was Reserve Champion for the Mature Horse
Championship & the Grand Championship.
Con Dia entered
the Hilltop mare herd in 2006 and produced a stunning filly by
Royal Prince in 2007. She has been back in work since
early 2008 and is ready to return to the show ring. Con
Dia is a straight-forward ride that is well suited for either a
professional or an ambitious amateur/young rider.
She has
a full-set of digital x-rays available. A top quality
Performance Mare or a valuable addition to a dressage breeding
program; here's your chance for a very special mare.
