R Paris is a full-sister to the successful colt R London Calling.  R London Calling, a 2008 colt, was the Reserve Grand Champion of the Fair Hill Breed Show I in 2009 and was 2nd in the ISR/Oldenburg class at Dressage at Devon later that fall.

Paris is a gem to work with and has quickly settled into her new routine since moving to Hilltop Farm this winter.  She is trusting of people, learns quickly, and we feel she will be an easy prospect to develop.  She has a leggy build and we expect her to mature around 16.3 hands.  Her elegant, elastic movement has good reach and she is a very nice dressage prospect.

Her sire Royal Prince (Rohdiamant-Prince Thatch xx) is still the highest placing American owned horse at the World Championships for Young Horses with his fourth place finish as a five-year old.  His exceptional basic paces and high rideability are consistently transmitted to his offspring.  Royal Prince was the 2009 Reserve Champion for Fourth Level at both the BLM Finals and the USDF/GAIG Region 1 Championships.  He has also been the USEF Leading Sire for Dressage Breeding in both 2008 & 2009.

Paris’s dam Akino is continuing her own dressage training while producing a number of offspring through embryo transfer. She is by Enrico Caruso (Mahagoni) sired 11 Approved stallions, including Kostolany.  He was the Reserve Champion of his Stallion Performance Testing and became a successful show horse, competing at S level in all disciplines.  Granddam sire Schonfeld is one of the all-time leading sires of Hunters in the US.  This pedigree offers versatility, trainability, and beautiful type.
