2009 Oldenburg Filly
Chestnut, 15 hands

A long-legged and refined filly by Royal Prince, Ruby shows top potential as a dressage prospect.  She was named a Premium Foal at her ISR/Oldenburg Inspection with scores of 8/8.3/8.1/8.1.  Her walk is long and moves well through the body, her trot shows excellent elasticity and a natural cadence, and her canter is ground-covering and soft.

Her sire Royal Prince (Rohdiamant-Prince Thatch xx) is still the highest placing American owned horse at the World Championships for Young Horses with his fourth place finish as a five-year old.  His exceptional basic paces and high rideability are consistently transmitted to his offspring.  Royal Prince was the 2009 Reserve Champion for Fourth Level at both the BLM Finals and the USDF/GAIG Region 1 Championships.  He has also been the USEF Leading Sire for Dressage Breeding in both 2008 & 2009.   

Ruby’s dam, Dinara, is a Premium Oldenburg mare by Donnerwerth.  Donnerwerth was the 2001 Prix St. Georges Horse of Year for the California Dressage Society and is by the Grand Prix stallion Donnerschlag.  Solid FEI performance horses abound from this line descending from the legendary Donnherall

Ruby is a lovely young filly with great potential as a dressage prospect and future broodmare.  She is sound, has no vices, and has a sweet disposition that should bond strongly with her owner.
