Showboat (Hit Parade – Bugatti)
We remember Showboat (Hit Parade x Belize) as the impressive foal at the Hilltop Farm ISR/Oldenburg Inspection, earning an overall score of 8.3 and High Score Foal. It’s hard to believe the handsome foal is already six and showing successfully undersaddle. Bred by Sheila O’Keefe and owned by Cindy Acker, Showboat started off the 2017 at First Level under the careful guidance of Julio Mendoza. The gelding has started the season off strong with multiple wins and scores up to 78%. Congratulations to all of Showboat’s connections!

Ten weeks following a surgery that was intended to prolong and sustain the quality of life for the 19-year old Holsteiner stallion, Hilltop Farm lost their founding sire Cabaret on October 28, 1999. An arthrocentesis was performed on the right front fetlock of the stallion in order to" fuse" the fetlock and create relief for a failing suspensory apparatus.
