An exciting new addition from Van Olst Stables! Chippendale completed his Performance Test for the KWPN in 2010 and earned the highlight scores of 9 for canter and 8 for rideability. Chippendale gave strong performances at the winter Stallion Shows and began preparing for the 2011 PAVO Cup qualifiers. In each competition Chippendale improved and he finished fourth in the PAVO Cup Final as a 4-year old with the guest judges rewarding him with scores of 8.5 and 9.

Chippendale is by Lord Leatherdale, a popular young stallion in Holland. Lord Leatherdale presented three offspring that finished in the Top 10 at the 2011 PAVO Cup Finals. Chippendale’s dam is the Elite KWPN Mare Ti Amo, by Negro and out of a Landadel mare. Negro competed very successfully through Grand Prix and has numerous offspring competing internationally including Valegro who in his first season of Grand Prix was on the Gold Medal winning team at the 2011 European Championships. Due to quality of his offspring, Negro has been awarded Keur status by the KWPN.
Chippendale’s first foals were evaluated by the KWPN in August 2011 and the summary report noted a uniform collection of good dressage type with a clear walk with plenty of scope, a light, scopey trot, and a ground-covering canter. A Chippendale daughter out of a Sandro Hit-Amerigo Vespucci mare was the high selling foal at the Brabant Foal Auction.
