Riding Clinics

Hilltop is proud to offer clinics with Christopher Hickey and Michael Bragdell. Both Chris and Michael are well-known for their informative teaching styles and ability to instruct a diversity of horse and riders. Their experience allows them to guide riders through insightful comments given in a positive and concise manner.

Chris is a certified USDF instructor through fourth level as well as a faculty for that committee, and clinics regularly in Kansas Ctiy, MO; Lexington, KY; Edgemoor, SC; and Amherst, MA. Although we are not currently taking new clinic inquiries for Chris, please view the calendar to see where his next scheduled clinic is available.

Distinguished for his young horse clinics, Michael helps young horses get off to a correct start with a solid foundation. In addition to young horse riding clinics, Michael also offers in-hand clinics at both Hilltop and farms across the country. A USDF Certified Handler, Michael provides breeders and owners with the methodology and technique behind the handling system that has allowed Hilltop to capture many prestigious breed show championships.

Clinic Hosting Opportunities

All Hilltop Farm breeders are invited to become Host Sites for an In-Hand Training Clinic. By hosting an In-Hand Training clinic, the host has an opportunity to offer a new resource for their local community while benefiting with their own horses. Hilltop Farm will provide the format and offer suggestions for marketing to the public. These In-Hand Training clinics serve as ideal preparations for inspections or breed shows. They also serve as solid opportunities to improve horsemanship and achieve a solid foundation for communication with the horse of any age.
