Windy Hollow Hunt/Sussex Dressage
Michael Bragdell traveled up to Augusta, NJ for the Windy Hollow Hunt/Sussex Dressage Shows. Qredit Hilltop scored a 66.69% in his Friday warm-up and was then 2nd in Saturday’s Developing Prix St. Georges with a 70.147%. Qredit’s gotten much stronger over the past few months of work and is happily offering so much expression in the work. Michael also showed Witness Hilltop for the first time. They won the Intermediaire II both days with scores of 65.5% and 68.4% – a great start for this recent partnership.
Hilltop Farm is thrilled that three of our stallions have been named USEF Leading Sires of the Year for 2009. Contucci (Caprimond-Lungau)is the Dressage Sire of the Year; Riverman (Redfort-Landego) is the Eventing Sire of the Year; and for the second year in a row, Royal Prince (Rohdiamant-Prince Thatch xx) is the Dressage Breeding Sire of the Year (and Bugatti was ranked second in this category).
The United States Equestrian Federation gives awards to the top placing sires, breeders, and owners based upon their offspring show records over the past year at USEF recognized shows. For the 2008 show season, Hilltop Farm stallions once again proved their consistency as Leading Sires in the US.

The dramatic view at Hilltop Farm is as beautiful as its magnificent horses, but the facility's scenic side in a relatively rural section of Maryland is just one of the many things that make it unique, the word most often used by people describing this one-of-a-kind property.
