Hilltop Horses

 2012 Hanoverian Mare, 16.3 hands
Qredit – Cordoba – Weltmeyer

Quinzy is from our stallion Qredit’s first foalcrop and we’ve retained her to develop as a competition horse in the coming years. She is a big mare with a lot of power and expression to her gaits. Quinzy’s dam was a very important mare to Hilltop Farm.  Cha Cha won riding test at the Ratje-Niebuhr show in Verden in 2000 and was trained to Intermediaire.  Her offspring inherit her type and movement and have been very successful young horses including:  Bellatesse (by Bugatti) won the USEF 4-Year Old at Devon and placed 4th at the US Dressage Finals in 2013; and  Cha Ching (by Contucci) who was a consistent in-hand winner, was the 2015 AHS Materiale Year-End Champion, and is a consistent winner at USDF Dressage shows as he progresses up the levels. Qredit, Quinzy’s sire, has been a standout for Hilltop Farm the past few years.  He was Reserve Champion of the USEF Young Horse Championships at four and placed 4th as 5-Year Old.  Qredit won the 2017 US Dressage Finals at Intermediate II and is now winning at Grand Prix.  Like her sire, Quinzy’s off to an excellent competitive start. Quinzy’s competition highlights include:

  • 2015 Dressage at Devon ~ winner of the 3-Year Old Materiale 80.2%
  • 2016 winning in Materiale & Training Level
  • 2017 median scores at Training & First Level above 70%
  • 2017 6th at USDF Region 8 Championships
  • 2018 Third Level debut with a score of 73%
  • 2019 awarded Hanoverian Competition Mare title
  • 2019 4th at USDF Region 8 Championships Fourth Level
  • 2019 9th at US Dressage Finals Fourth Level
  • showing Prix St. Georges

Quinzy’s very trusting of her rider and has an excellent trainability.  Already schooling much of the Intermediate II work, we definitely see the Grand Prix in her future.
