Dressage Groom (Part-Time)

Exciting opportunity to join the Hilltop Team as a dressage groom part-time! This position works in a team environment to support the training and breeding operations of the farm through grooming horses in training including breeding stallions, young horses, and competition and/or sales horses. Duties include grooming, tacking/untacking, wrapping, performing therapies,  laundry, cleaning tack, and general barn cleaning duties. Applicant should be available to work 20-25hrs/week. Specific schedule has some flexible depending on applicant’s availability but must be consistent and between the hours of 7am – 5pm (sorry, no evening hours available). Ideal applicant should have solid horse care and handling skills (dressage/sporthorse background preferred), be detail orientated, enjoy a fast pace environment, and have a valid US driver’s license. Stable Groom (Full-Time)

Enjoy working outside around quality horses, fun co-workers, and a professional environment? Hilltop Farm is looking for a stable groom to join our sporthorse breeding operations! The position has the potential to work around foals/young horses, broodmares, stallions, and top competition horses to facilitate the daily operations of the farm. Duties include stall cleaning, feeding, administering medications/therapies, turnout, basic grooming, holding for vet/farrier, and general cleaning duties. The position is a five day work week but does require weekends (i.e. days off will be weekdays). Ideal applicant will have solid horse handling skills, ability to regularly lift 50 lbs, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and have a valid US driver’s license. See full job description here
