FEI Show Groom

Groom top FEI dressage horses in a fun team environment!  Hilltop Farm is looking for an experienced dressage groom to care for approximately eight competition horses based in Colora, MD with regular travel to shows. Ideal applicant should be experienced with show grooming, detail-orientated, possess solid horse care skills including wrapping, clipping, and braiding, and be comfortable handling a variety of horses. Compensation Package Includes: 

  • Annual salary of $35,568
  • On-site shared housing (private bedroom/shared living space) with standard utilities

Current Working Student & Internships Opportunities

 Working Student

Are you an up-and-coming dressage professional looking for the right opportunity to develop your skills? Hilltop is looking for a working student to work closely with our training department! The position will enhance your dressage theory and skills through daily hands-on experience at a top sporthorse training and breeding operation with the opportunity to work around a wide variety of horses including FEI competition horses, young horses, and stallions. The Working Student works closely with the training department helping to groom/clip/tack the performance horses, attend recognized shows, and gains a comprehensive view of developing competition horses from foals to the FEI show ring. We understand that riding is an important part of a working student position and have included board and 2x/week lessons on your own horses in the program. This position requires a twelve month commitment with a five-day work week which may include weekends. Ideal applicants should have strong handling skills, a foundation in dressage, and an open desire to learn.

Learning Opportunities & Benefits:
