Current Employment Opportunities

Head Groom (Full-Time)

We’re seeking an experienced dressage groom to lead our grooming team! Great opportunity to work with FEI competition horses, developing young horses, and top breeding stallions. Position is based in Maryland with regular travel to shows April-Oct and potential to winter in Florida (Jan-March).  Applicant must be experienced with sporthorse show grooming, possess solid horse handling skills, enjoy working in a team environment, and have a valid US driver’s license. Preference for applicants with young horse/stallion experience. Duties include leading the grooming team in daily operations, which includes tacking/untacking, clipping, braiding, wrapping, administering basic therapies, etc.  Position is a 5-day work week with 6-days when attending horse shows. 

Compensation package includes:

Stable Groom (Full-Time)

Looking to join a top sporthorse farm and work around quality horses in a professional environment? Hilltop Farm is looking for a stable groom to join our sporthorse breeding operations! The position has the potential to work around foals/young horses, broodmares, stallions, and top competition horses to facilitate the daily operations of the farm. Duties include stall cleaning, feeding, administering medications/therapies, turnout, basic grooming, holding for vet/farrier, and general cleaning duties. The position is a five-day work week but does require weekends (i.e. days off will be weekdays). Ideal applicant will have solid horse handling skills, ability to regularly lift 50 lbs, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and have a valid US driver’s license. See full job description here
