Assistant to the Grounds Manager (Full-Time)

Love being outdoors, have a background with farming/maintenance, and looking to join a fun team on a beautiful farm? Hilltop Farm is looking for an Assistant to the Grounds Manager to join our operations! This person maintains the farm’s buildings, fields, sheds, and the general landscape.  Our maintenance/grounds teams do basic vehicle maintenance, fencing repairs, building repairs, mowing, and weed eating, etc.  Cleaning of stalls and restocking hay/straw is also part of the job.  No day is ever quite the same.  The position is a five-day work week with weekends generally off.  Ideal applicant will have experience with mowers, tractors and basic farm repairs, ability to regularly lift 50 lbs, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and have a valid US driver’s license.  Horse experience is helpful but not required.
