Detour HTF

2025 | Hanoverian | Colt
(Denmark HTF x Allegra Q/Anhaltiner E)

Detour HTF is an athletic, expressive young colt who combines quality movement, strong conformation, and an excellent temperament. He shows three top-quality paces and all the ingredients to develop into an FEI contender with a professional, or to follow in the footsteps of his half-siblings as the ideal competition partner for an ambitious amateur rider. His balance and presence make him a young horse with exceptional long-term potential.

At his AHS Inspection, Detour was named Top Colt, with judges praising his really good ground cover in the walk, a trot with a lot of push, a well-muscled hindquarter, and an overall good sport type. These qualities were further reinforced during his outing at Dressage at Devon, where he placed 4th in the Colts of 2025 class and helped earn an 80% for his sire in the Get of Sire class.

Detour is sired by Denmark HTF (Desperado-Negro), a young stallion who is quickly establishing himself as both a sport horse and a sire of note. Denmark HTF is producing top-quality foals that are highly sought after and consistently earning top remarks from inspection officials and judges. His own performance record already includes competing at the US Young Horse National Championships and finishing 3rd at the US Dressage Finals. Denmark’s pedigree is packed with elite sport success; both his sire and his dam were successful Grand Prix competitors, and two of Denmark’s half-siblings are already competing at the Grand Prix level.

Detour’s dam Allegra Q impressed at her AHS Inspection with a score of 7.75 and earned an exceptional 120 points at her Oldenburg NA inspection. She contributes substance, correctness, and athleticism to the pedigree, further supporting Detour’s suitability as a long-term sport prospect.  Her offspring offer good form and scope over fences, but have all been purchased by AA dressage riders for their type, movement, and temperament.

Detour HTF represents a compelling opportunity for riders looking for another young prospect to develop.
