(Louisville x Athaena*M*/E.H. Caprimond)

Lexington is a young filly of great promise. She has natural balance and moves with lively suspension and elasticity, as evident in her video. Given her breeding and conformation, with proper training, she is very likely to reach advanced levels in dressage. Recently, at her Oldenburg N.A. Registry inspection, Lexington was designated a Premium Foal for her conformation, movement, and overall impression). She also received the High Score award and was named Foal Champion.

Lexington’s sire is Louisville HTF (Lord Leatherdale x Negro) who, as a 5-year-old, had a very successful 2022 show season. He was Reserve Champion for USDF All-Breeds at First Level, Reserve Champion at the USDF Region 1 Finals, made his 2nd Level debut with a score of 73.6%, and was named First Level Champion at the US Dressage Finals. He earned excellent scores at his Stallion Test for the canter, trot, and rideability. As stated in the Hilltop Farm Stallion Book, “Sire Lord Leatherdale has sired multiple Young Horse Champions and international Grand Prix horses. Louisville’s dam, Unicum-D, had a successful sport career that included the USEF Intermediare Championships and Grand Prix wins. Her sire Negro is one of the most proven sires for production of Grand Prix offspring.”

Lexington’s dam, Athaena*M* (E.H. Caprimond x Anastazia/Veneziano), was designated a Model Mare at her Trakehner inspection as a 3 yr. old, a coveted distinction. She helped her amateur rider earn her USDF Bronze Medal and received the Oldenburg NA Star Award for Performance, as well as a USDF Performance Award. Her sire, E.H. Caprimond is legendary for his excellent breeding and performance career. In 1995, Caprimond was awarded Elite Stallion status (“E.H.”). In 1998, he was proclaimed Trakehner Stallion of the Year. Until 19 years of age, E.H. Caprimond was successful in Grand Prix competitions and was approved for numerous registries, valued for his many talented, rideable offspring with beautiful conformation. Athaena*M*’s dam, Anastazia, was Trakehner Horse of the Year Champion in the 2-year-old fillies division. She was also Reserve Champion USDF Sport Horse Breeding Horse of the Year in the 2-year-old fillies division. In addition, Anastazia received the Oldenburg Star Award for Performance of Offspring.
