NMA Maestro
NMA Maestro is a stunning black colt (Eeaa and he will not gray) out of Olympic medalist Everdale (Dutch Warmblood) and an incredibly unique IALHA Andalusian mare, Bengala De Azul NMA. Maestro is intelligent, level headed and friendly. His disposition is kind and willing like his dam, Bengala, and he is already preferential to ‘his person’ (an Andalusian trait).
Maestro’s trainability is amazing for a youngster as, starting at only three weeks old, he remembers his lessons from one week to the next making it easy to build on and reinforce his training. Love and kindness, as his positive reinforcement, are all that he has needed to progress and learn (no treats).
NMA Maestro is straight, balanced and beautifully fluid and elastic in his 3 gaits. He should mature around 16 1 hh . Maestro has a strong presence; it is his quiet elegance that suggests something special. He will make someone a wonderful upper level dressage partner.
Maestro’s dam (in photo), Bengala De Azul NMA, was ‘selected’ for her genetics of incredible movement and dressage capability ( Luna MDC, Guarapo, Malandate, Nube III). One does not need to explain the reasoning for selecting Everdale as Maestro’s sire. His accolades are well known here. I am thrilled to see some of Everdale’s “mini-me” characteristics shining through to NMA Maestro.
