Rowland TS

Rowland TS Rowland is a very sweet yearling who is just growing into his frame. He has a beautiful walk and an uphill canter.  Most importantly, he has the kindest personality you could find.  His mother competed in PSG/Intermediare I and she had a sweet nature but too much blood for many riders. Her only son has plenty of spunk but just loves to hang out with people and learns new skills on the first effort. He hasn’t been shown in-hand because of owner time constraints but he is good for the farrier, waits on crossties, and takes medications in all forms.  He currently lives out in a small mare herd but is happy with stall time.   Price: $25,000 Contact:Erin Trawick-Smith  |  203-980-6438   |  East Haddam,...

Lexington

Lexington Lexington is a 2-year-old, 16 hh filly of considerable potential. Through her sire (Lord Leatherdale x Negro) and dam (E.H. Caprimond x Veneziano), she is related to several international dressage competitors and champions, including Glamourdale, Everdale, Valegro, and Hohenstein. She shows natural uphill balance, suspension, elasticity, and a cooperative temperament. Given her breeding, conformation, and intelligence, she may well reach advanced levels in dressage. At her Oldenburg N.A. Registry inspection, Lexington was designated a Premium Foal, received the High Score award, and was named Foal Champion. As a weanling and yearling, she received training at Ellsworth Equine Program in showmanship and obstacle skills, patience when tied, desensitization to many different stimuli, picking up and giving of feet, and standing for grooming and the farrier. She was also introduced to ground driving, saddle and bridle, and standing quietly while being mounted and dismounted. This year, she has been started under saddle and lightly introduced to yielding to leg pressure, serpentines, picking up leads at a slow jog, backing up straight, side-passing, and voice cues during longeing. She will be ready for more formal training when she is three years old. Lexington’s sire, Louisville HTF, has been making excellent progress through the levels, moving up to the Intermediate I in the fall of 2024, as a 7-year-old. He has won the US Dressage Finals, All-Breeds Awards, and placed 7th at the USEF National Championships. He earned excellent scores at his Stallion Test for the canter, trot, and rideability. Louisville HTF stands at Hilltop Farm, Colora, MD. His sire, Lord Leatherdale, has sired many Young Horse Champions and international Grand Prix...

Oban RH

Oban RH Oban RH, born May 16, 2024, is a stunning, bold gelding with three excellent gaits and with great potential for a dressage career. He was appreciated by the judges at his July 2024 Hilltop American Hanoverian Society (AHS) inspection where they highlighted his type and energetic uphill trot. Oban is now microchipped, has his USEF Lifetime registration/equine passport and his American Hanoverian Society registration papers. We anticipate he will be 16.3-17 hands. Oban’s sire, O’Frederic (For Romance I – Riana/Fidertanz), is a young up and coming stallion with a special pedigree including 5 stallions who competed at Grand Prix. At his KWPN Stallion Performance Test in 2022, O’Frederic earned scores of 9 for walk and rideability. Additional highlights included 8.5’s for canter and talent as dressage horse, and scores of 8 for trot and elasticity. O’Frederic is an impressive stallion who is very focused on his rider and has a very good attitude. The first foal crop of O’Frederic has been well received in both Holland and the US. https://link.edgepilot.com/s/555f54de/715BzqpfDUGGKKl2JqON1Q?u=https://youtu.be/4Sj2aOdXTic Evelina MDH (Everdale- Pinta/Prado), the dam of Oban RH, won the Maiden Mares class at Dressage at Devon in 2022 and was awarded Premium Candidate mare by the AHS.
