Rowland TS

Rowland TS Rowland will make an exceptional partner for an AA or Junior rider, with the help of a pro, as he is still a baby. He is very friendly and people oriented. He clips, ties, loads on the trailer, cross ties, and is easy for vet and farrier. He is accustomed to field turnout but will tolerate a stall.  Rowland has been very lightly started, he understands the concept of lunging, ground drives well off the halter, and has worn a saddle and bridle. This summer he went to several USDF breed shows, where he showed off his awesome temperament. He has also attended several in-hand obstacle clinics. He is brave, game to try whatever, and not spooky at all.  Both his sire and dam competed through FEI. Rowland inherited Rubinero’s outstanding temperament. During his 70 day test, Rubinero was given 10s on both character and rideability. Rowland has 3 quality gaits: a supple, ground covering walk, an expressive trot with great shoulder freedom, and a naturally uphill canter. He currently stands 15.3 ½ hh and should mature 16.2hh+ Price: $25,000 Photo By: Allyssia Timberlake Photography Photo By: Allyssia Timberlake Photography Photo By: Allyssia Timberlake Photography Contact:Erin Trawick-Smith  |  203-980-6438   |  East Haddam,...

Lexington

Lexington Lexington is a 2-year-old, 16 hh filly of considerable potential. Through her sire (Lord Leatherdale x Negro) and dam (E.H. Caprimond x Veneziano), she is related to several international dressage competitors and champions, including Glamourdale, Everdale, Valegro, and Hohenstein. At her first Dressage Sport Horse Prospect In-Hand class this past July, she scored 9.6 out of 10 for “overall frame & topline; balance & proportions” and 9.3 for “general impression”.  She already shows uphill balance, suspension, elasticity, and cooperative temperament. Given her breeding, conformation, and intelligence, she may well reach advanced levels in dressage. At her Oldenburg N.A. Registry inspection, Lexington was designated a Premium Foal, received the High Score award, and was named Foal Champion. As a weanling and yearling, she received training at Ellsworth Equine Program in showmanship and obstacle skills, patience when tied, desensitization to many different stimuli, picking up and giving of feet, and standing for grooming and the farrier. She was also introduced to ground driving, saddle and bridle, and standing quietly while being mounted and dismounted. This year, she has been started under saddle and lightly introduced to yielding to leg pressure, serpentines, picking up leads at a slow jog, backing up straight, side-passing, and voice cues during longeing. She will be ready for more formal training when she is three years old. Lexington’s sire, Louisville HTF, has been making excellent progress through the levels, moving up to the Intermediate I in the fall of 2024, as a 7-year-old. He has won the US Dressage Finals, All-Breeds Awards, and placed 7th at the USEF National Championships. He earned excellent scores at his...
