Bugatti Offspring Show at Devon

benedict cf-webBugatti was well represented by offspring showing in-hand and undersaddle during Dressage at Devon.  Beaujolais 75 (Bugatti-Contucci) was ridden by owner Emily Donaldson to a 4th place finish in the Suitable to Become a Dressage Horse 5-Years Old. Beaujolais was bred by Doug Beacham. Three year old Benedict CF (Bugatti-Anamour), owned by Mary Ann Reich and bred by Callaway Farm, showed both in hand and under saddle.  He showed to a 3rd place finish in the 3-Year Old Colts and Geldings and 4th place finish in the USDF/GAIG Colts and Geldings Final.  Under saddle he won the Suitable to Become a Dressage Horse 3-Years Old and finished 6th in the Materiale 3 & 4 Year Old Colts and Geldings. Three-year old filly Beacoup d’Amis (Bugatti-Contucci) placed third in the 3-Year Old Fillies, and continued on to a 6th place finish in the USDF/GAIG Filly Final Tuesday evening.  Later in the week, Beacoup d’Amis earned a 5th place finish in the ISR/Oldenburg IBC.  Beth Custalow’s Yearling filly, Bugatti’s Ballerina (Bugatti-Rohdiamant) finished 2nd in the Hanoverian 2 & Under IBC.  Two-year old filly Briljant G (Bugatti-Babar), owned and bred Mary La Banca, finished 9th in the 2-Year Old Fillies on Tuesday.  On Wednesday, “Giada” and Mary showed in the Adult Amateur Handler class for a 6th place finish.

Bugati Max Effrt SFA (Bugatti-Ramses Rasul): We received wonderful news from breeder Deb Thomas of Sanford Farms in CT. Deb shared that 2-Year Old Bugatti gelding Bugati Max Effrt SFA (Bugatti x Desert Aurora/Ramses Rasul) was named National Reserve Champion 2-Year Old Half Arabian Gelding at the 2017 AHA National Sport Horse Show. VADA/NOVA Fall Dressage Show: It was a beautiful weekend in Virginia for the VADA/NOVA Fall Show. Michael took Kaja Brix’s Feuerbach out for a warm-up before Regionals. They won both their Intermediate I tests with a 66.9% and a 69.7%. >>>

2017 AHS/ARS Inspection: We had a fantastic inspection this past week with an overwhelming super quality in the foals. The event started however with two stallions being accepted for AHS/ARS. >>>
