Popeye News Pixar (Popeye – Fascination View All Popeye News >>> Four year old Popeye son, Pixar (Popeye x Faschon/Fascination), has had a great show season for owner and breeder Kristin DeLuca.  Pixar has shown in-hand in Young Horse Series classes and in Dresssage Sporthorse Breeding classes, earning numerous accolades in both.  At the High Point Hanoverians Young Horse Series Qualifier, Pixar won both the 4 & 5-Year Old In-Hand and Jump Chute classes.  Pixar’s results have qualified him for the Young Horse Series Finals in Kentucky this November.  He also earned the ISR/OldenburgNA High Score award for the show. At the USDF Breeders Championship New England Series, Pixar continued to hold his own again the horses.  He took home a 3rd place ribbon in the Stallion Series Final.  Dressage at Devon was Pixar’s most recent stop, where he earned a 3rd place finish in the ISR/Oldenburg IBC after finishing 6th in the Stallion Class.  Kristin is looking forward to seeing Pixar show in-hand at Devon next fall.  As we approach the end of the 2016 show season, Pixar is currently ranked 2nd in the ISR/Oldenburg All-Breeds Awards for 4-Year Old and Older Stallions.  Congratulations Kristin! Qredit News Qwin (Qredit-Wolkentanz I) View All Qredit News >>> Congratulations to owner/breeder Angie Mirarchi on Qwin’s success at the Border Line Dressage Breed Show and the Sullivan Farm’s AHS Futurity.  At Border Line Dressage, the yearling Qredit-Wolkentanz I colt had a 2nd place finish in the Yearling Colts & Geldings class with a 79%.  He moved on to finish Reserve in the Colts and Geldings Championship and 3rd in the Young Horse Championship.  In the AHS Yearling Futurity, Qwin received great scores of 8 for walk and trot, and nothing less than a 7 for his conformation scores. Hilltop News Offspring Updates Return to All Hilltop News >>> We love catching up with breeders about all their offspring, including those by stallions that may not still be in our line-up.  Here are some recent updates from breeders around the US on their offspring bred through Hilltop Farm.  Jaquetta LJS (Laroche – Tomorrows Cat xx) by Laroche received First Premium in the Jumper division at recent the KWPN keuring held at Iron Spring Farm for owner/breeder Marie Emrey of Lazy J Sporthorses. Calla (Cabaret-Consul) and rider Lisa Schreiber had an excellent 2014 show season.  The pair won multiple year-end awards with the Islip Horseman’s Association (IHA), including: High Score Adult, Intro Year End Champion, and Mirror Image Memorial Award. Congratulations to breeder April Hays on the inspection results of her Hemmingway colt, How Ya Like Me Now (Hemmingway – Quiet Enjoyment xx) out of the Thoroughbred mare Raise Your Hand.  How Ya Like Me Now received Premium status and was High Score Foal of the inspection.  His trot was a highlight, earning a score of 8.2.
