Denver HTF is Reserve Champion for AHS Year-End Awards
We just received the happy news that our yearling gelding, Denver HTF (Donarweiss GGF-Raj Mahal HTF/Royal Prince) is Reserve Champion with the American Hanoverian Society for their Younger Colts & Geldings Division. With an overall score of 78.8%, Denver was incredibly consistent throughout the season, including winning his age-group class at Dressage at Devon. He is a 2nd-generation homebred for Hilltop Farm and is dam is now an Elite Mare with the AHS. (December 2013)
Once again we made the long drive out to the beautiful Lamplight Equestrian Center in Wayne, IL for the Markel/USEF Young Horse Championships. Michael qualified two horses for the Championships this year.
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of the Hanoverian stallion Tiamo Trocadero (Trapper-Darling). Tiamo Trocadero lived at Hilltop Farm from 2006 to 2008 and stood in our Guest Stallion Program for two seasons. Tiamo had an outstanding International dressage record which included being named an Alternate for the 2000 Olympic Games for the British Dressage Team.
Hilltop Articles & Interviews
The dramatic view at Hilltop Farm is as beautiful as its magnificent horses, but the facility's scenic side in a relatively rural section of Maryland is just one of the many things that make it unique, the word most often used by people describing this one-of-a-kind property.
The manicured grounds of the Lamplight Equestrian Center were superb as was the quality of the equine competitors at the 2009 Markel/United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) National Young Horse Dressage Championships and the 2009 USEF National Developing Horse Dressage Championship, sponsored by the Dutta Corporation and Performance Sales International.
