With only the top 15 of each age group invited to the Finals, the competition is intense yet the sense of comradery and enthusiasm is one of the best of all the shows. >>>

Doctor Wendell Foal Announcements: 06-06-17: Jenny Trainor of Bozeman, MT is so pleased to announce the arrival of her new Doctor Wendell colt! Born on May 11th to her Oldenburg mare Whippoorwill, Jenny says that her new arrival is doing great. Congratulations! >>>

USEF Sire Rankings: The United States Equestrian Federation compiles annual Sire Rankings based on competition results of recorded offspring. With the results finalized the end of December, we’re excited to share the achievements for the current, and a few former, stallions at Hilltop Farm. >>>

Dressage At Devon: All of us here at Team Hilltop enjoyed another successful year at Dressage at Devon 2016. With the help of King Santacruz, Quinnten and Michael presented a number of Hilltop-sired or client-owned horses to top placings over the course of the week. Despite the usual small bit of rainy weather, we were happy to catch up with clients, friends, and even welcome a few new faces into the Hilltop barns. >>>

Sternlicht & Doctor Wendell Qualify for US Championships: The US Young Horse/Developing Horse Championships will again be held at the Lamplight Equestrian Center in Wayne, IL at the end of August. Sternlicht will be contesting the FEI Six-Year Old classes with Michael Bragdell. >>>

Doctor Wendell MF Debuts at Intermediaire II: Doctor Wendell MF (Don Principe-Sandro Hit) contested his first Intermediaire II this past weekend and placed 2nd with a 64%. At not yet 8 yrs old, he is progressing very quickly up the levels! >>>

Divergent (Doctor Wendell – Uncle Abbie xx): Congratulations to breeder Kelly McDaniel on her Doctor Wendell, Divergent, being named a premium foal and Top Filly of the Isabella Farm’s AHS inspection. The judges complimented the filly’s powerful movement and felt she would develop into a great sporthorse. >>>

ESDCTA Memorial Day Weekend Breed Show: ESDCTA added in two new Breed Shows over Memorial Day weekend and we were thrilled to take some of the youngsters up to the New Jersey Horse Park for the first breed show of the season. Quinnten Alston had a full plate each day. >>>

USEF Leading Sire Rankings: Each year we look forward to the release of the finalized USEF Leading Sire Rankings. It is an excellent resource for US stallion owners, breeders, riders, and trainers alike. >>>

Doctor Wendell MF Fully Approved AHS: Beyond the initial licensing by a registry, a breeding stallion must complete additional performance requirements to earn their lifetime approval. Some do this through stallion testings, but some complete their requirements through show results. >>>

Hilltop-Sired Offspring at USDF Nationals: Congratulations to all the owners, riders, and breeders whose horses qualified for the USDF National Finals. In its second year at the Kentucky Horse Park the show has a true Championship feel to it and draws competitors from across the entire country. >>>

Danae MF Earns Traveling Trot Award: Each year the USDF Awards the Traveling Trot Perpetual Trophy to the highest scoring Dressage Sport Horse In-Hand of all age groups and both genders. >>>

Doctor Wendell Offspring At Border Line Dressage: Marydell Farm’s two Doctor Wendell offspring were very successful at the Border Line Dressage Breed Show. The 2014 filly, Danae MF (Doctor Wendell x Rising Star), won the 2014 Fillies class with an 81.7%. Danae went on to finish Reserve Champion in the Current Year Foal Championship. >>>

USEF/Markel Young Horse Championships: The horses arrived in great shape out in Chicago, with Sternlicht coming all the way from Hilltop and Jim Koford and Doctor Wendell MF (Don Principe-Sandro Hit) joining us from Kentucky. >>>

ISR/Oldenburg NA Inspection at Hilltop: Hilltop Farm hosted its annual ISR/Oldenburg inspection on August 16th. The judging panel of Ekkehard Brysch, Dieter Felgendreher, and Gary Lawrence had a packed day of horses to evaluate. >>>

Sternlicht & Doctor Wendell Qualify for USEF Championships: The official letters were released this week and we are thrilled to share that Hilltop Farm’s Sternlicht and Marydell Farm’s Doctor Wendell MF have both been invited to the USEF/Markel Young Horse National Championships August 20-24th near Chicago, IL. >>>

AHS Inspection at Hilltop Farm: July 20-21st Hilltop Farm was pleased to host the American Hanoverian Society Inspection & Futurity. Dr. Ludwig Christmann, Volker Ehlers, and Suzanne Quarles made an excellent judging panel and their evaluations of each horse proved extremely valuable to the audience and owners. >>>

Dressage at Lexington Breed Show: The Lexington Breed Show was a fun outing for Team Hilltop. Our handler, Quinnten Alston, took two youngsters from the farm down for the show. Both Relevè HTF (Royal Prince-Cordoba) and Quinzy HTF (Qredit-Cordoba) placed 2nd in their respective age divisions. Quinzy was 3rd in the Filly Championship and Relevè was 5th in the AHS IBC. >>>

Hilltop Wraps Up Our 2014 Foaling Season: May 12th and 13th brought more healthy foals here to Hilltop Farm. On Thursday night, Melissa Stubenberg’s mare Wraina (Obadiah-Sir Wimborne xx) delivered her third foal – a very flashy Royal Prince colt that is a full sibling to the Premium Filly and Devon winner that she had last year. >>>

The Foals Continue to Arrive: It's a Foal Fest at Hilltop! We may have started a little slow, but the mares are making up for it now. On the night of April 10th, Gina Leslie's lovely Elite Mare Lexus (Liberty Gold-Armin) had her first foal, a handsome black colt by Doctor Wendell MF. Not to be outdone, Iris Aberbach's Berlinetta (Bugatti-Weltbekannt) had a beautiful filly by Ampere early morning of the 11th. >>>
