Don Principe Offspring At USDF Regional Championships

Congratulations to all the owners and breeders of the many Don Principe offspring competing at the USDF Region 1 and Region 2 Championships!  Don Principe was represented by five different offspring, with three competing at the Region 1 Championships and two at the Region 2 Championships.  A special highlight of the Region 2 Championships was Doctor Wendell MF (Don Principe – Sandro Hit) winning the Third Level Open Championship.  “Doc” is owned and bred by Marydell Farm and part of the Hilltop Farm Guest Stallion Program. Destria HVH (Don Principe-Welser), bred by Annetta Coleman and owned by Karen Wesley, had a 4th place finish in the Region 2 Second Level Adult Amateur Championship with a score of 68.5%.  Also at the Region 2 Championships, De Bussey MF (Don Principe-Welstern) and owner Katharina Nowotny-Boles competed in the First Level Freestyle. At the Region 1 Championships, Leslie Lytton’s Dynamic MF (Don Principe-Rubinstein) finished 3rd in the Third Level Adult Amateur Championship.  Janet Stone’s Delovely (Don Principe-Johns Line xx) competed in the First Level Open Championship for a 4th place finish with a score of 73.1%.

Fig Street’s Duchess (Don Principe – Contender): Don Principe daughter Fig Street’s Duchess (Don Principe x Comtessa/Contender), owned by Cynthia Hallman, had an exceptionally good 2017 show season. “Gracie” showed in the Green Hunters, Amateur Owner Hunters, and International Hunter Derbies throughout the season, earning many division championships. >>>

For the second time Marydell Farm's Don Principe was named the Dressage Breeding Sire of the Year and for the fourth time Riverman was named Eventing Sire of the Year! >>>

Dania Adar (Don Principe-Dominator): We’re enjoying hearing all the inspection results that continue to roll-in as inspection tours wrap-up around the country. The most recent results are from the AHS Inspection at the Tryon International Equestrian Center where Jean Tuttle’s Don Principe filly Dania Adar (Don Principe x Dame Un Besito/Dominator) was Champion 2-Year Old Futurity Filly. >>>
