Our show season continued on April 26th with a mid-week show in West Chester, PA.  Jessica Fay took our 5-year old homebred mare Quinzy HTF (Qredit-Cordoba). In Quinzy’s first outing for the year, they won both their First Level tests with scores of 69.5% and 70.9% and were High-Score First Level. Well done!

Witness-Nations-Cup

It was an absolute perfect finish to our Florida show season when Chris and Witness were invited to be on Team USA for the first ever CDIO3* Nations Cup competition in Wellington, Florida. Chris and Witness started the weekend out strong with a 2nd place finish in Friday’s Prix St. Georges, but they really shone in the Freestyle under the lights on Saturday night.

At the Pegasus Dinner during the USA Equestrian Convention, January 11, 2002, Jane MacElree was honored with the Ellen Scripps Davis Memorial Breeders Cup for her contribution to the sporthorse industry. Jane was elected as the one of two recipients for this year’s award and is the first warmblood sporthorse breeder to be given this honor.

The phone rings at Hilltop Farm and breeding manager Natalie DiBerardinis answers. Just as she suspected, it is a mare owner looking for advice. Which stallion would be a good match for her mare, the caller asks anxiously. With scientific advances in artificial insemination, the choices for a perfect partner have never been greater, but that doesn't mean the selection process is any simpler. DiBerardinis asks the owner a few questions about her mare and suggests she complete Hilltop's online questionnaire. After reading it, she and the caller will talk again to discuss the options.

CDCTA Dressage Show: This month our show season starts to ramp up, and this past weekend’s CDCTA show was a perfect outing. Michael won all 4 of his classes and all scores were over 70%. Mitch & Lara Mitchelson's Faberge Blue (Contango-Democraat) continued his winning ways with a 73% & 76% in his Fourth Level Test 3 and Fourth Level Freestyle classes. >>>

Foaling Season Continues at Hilltop: After a few weeks break, foalings continued at Hilltop Farm on April 23rd. Melissa Stubenberg’s Oldenburg mare Wraina (Obadiah-Sir Wimborne xx) produced a fantastic bay colt by Pikko del Cerro HU. A short-coupled and uphill build and a good amount a bone are a few of the highlights for this colt. >>>

Vallado Foal Announcements: 04-18-17: It’s a girl for Maggie Neider of North Hill Farm in Fabius, NY! A lovely Vallado filly was born to Maggie’s Hanoverian mare Romancing Rio on April 9th and Maggie says that this filly is absolutely everything she had ordered and so worth the wait. Congratulations Maggie! >>>

Riverman Foal Announcements: 04-06-2017: Congratulations to Arden Gale of Prattville, AL on the arrival of a delightful new Riverman filly! Born on March 23rd to Arden’s Holsteiner mare Air Apparent, Arden says all is going very well. She certainly is a cutie! >>>
