Current Full-Time Employment Opportunities

Experienced Dressage Groom

Seeking experienced dressage groom to be based in MD year-round with some weekend travel to both local and out-of-state recognized USDF/USEF shows. Applicant needs to be experienced with show grooming, be detail-oriented, possess solid horse care and handling skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team environment. Experience with young horses ideal.

Duties include grooming, tacking, assisting starting horses from ground, lunging, assisting with free-jumping, clipping, braiding, wrapping, etc. for approximately 10 – 12 horses. Stall cleaning is not a regular part of responsibilities. There is no riding included with this position.

Competitive compensation package includes:

  • On-site housing with standard utilities available if desired
  • 5 day work week

  • Discounted horse board/lessons
  • Weekly staff lesson (with own horse)
  • Starting salary of $22k

Stable Groom

The stable groom will assist in the care of horses from 3 yrs to FEI levels as well as breeding stallions and support the daily operations of our premiere show and breeding farm. Ideal applicant will have excellent horse handling skills, be a hard-worker with demonstrated attention to detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team environment.

Daily responsibilities will include stalls, feeding, turnout, grooming of retired horses, administering medications and therapies, general cleaning, and opportunities to assist with special events such as free-jumping, inspections, and various hosted events.

Grounds/Maintenance Worker (Full-time, Seasonal)

Scenic 400-acre horse farm seeking full-time, seasonal grounds/maintenance help. Immediate openings available to work Monday – Friday with approximate hours of 7am – 4 pm. 

Primary duties will include mowing, weed wacking, general farm maintenance, painting, and stall mucking. Ideal candidate will enjoy being outdoors, be mechanically inclined, and have a valid driver’s license. Starting salary of $9.25/hour.
