Dressage Groom

Join the Hilltop Team as a Dressage Groom for Michael Bragdell! Groom top competition horses, travel to premiere USDF/USEF dressage shows, and enjoy a five-day work week! Hilltop Farm is looking for an experienced dressage groom to be based out of Colora, MD with potential to travel to FL a few months during the winter. Duties include grooming/tacking for approximately eight competition horses with regular travel to out-of-state shows. Position includes limited stall cleaning each morning before grooming duties begin. Ideal applicant should be experienced with show grooming, detail-orientated, possess solid horse care skills including wrapping, clipping, braiding, and have a valid driver’s license. Hilltop offers a fun and fast-paced team environment with a competitive compensation package. 

Competitive compensation package includes:

  • On-site housing with standard utilities available if desired
  • 5 day work week
  • Paid vacation/sick days and holidays
  • Health insurance/401K (after respective probationary periods)
  • Discounted horse board/lessons
  • Regular group staff lesson (with own horse)
  • Salary dependent on experience

Stable Groom

Here’s your chance to be a part of a top sporthorse farm! Primary duties include feeding, administering medications, turnout, grooming, general handling, stall mucking, and barn cleaning. Ideal applicant will have solid horse handling skills, ability to lift 50lbs regularly, and have a valid driver’s license. Candidates should enjoy a fast-paced, team environment and have a demonstrated attention to detail. Position is a 45 hour, 5 day work week. 

Competitive compensation package includes:

  • On-site housing with standard utilities available if desired
  • 5 day work week
  • Paid vacation/sick days and holidays
  • Health insurance/401K (after respective probationary periods)
  • Discounted horse board/lessons
  • Regular group staff lesson (with own horse)
  • Starting salary of $23,900

Grounds Worker (Full-Time, Seasonal)

Seeking seasonal grounds worker immediately through Aug/Sept. Anticipated work week will be Monday – Friday 7 am – 4 pm. Primary duties include mowing, weed wacking, general farm maintenance, and painting. Ideal candidate will enjoy being outdoors, be mechanically inclined, and have a valid driver’s license. Starting salary of $12/hour.
