Broodmare Manager

The Broodmare Manager will oversee the comprehensive management of approximately 20-25 broodmares to include breeding and foaling. Foals will remain under the Broodmare Manager’s oversight while at the dam’s side and once weaned, transition into the Young Horse Program.  Responsibilities include breeding management, foaling, overall horse care, medical management, feeding/nutrition, grooming, basic handling, administrative duties, and general facility up-keep. This is a working manager position with a support staff of two – four additional staff dependent on the time of year and horse count. Ideal applicant will have significant breeding/foaling experience, excellent horse handling skills, solid horse care knowledge, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team environment.
