Young Horse Manager
The Young Horse Manager will oversee the management of approximately 30 young horses from the time of weaning through three-years-old. S/he will be responsible for comprehensive management of the Young Horse Department to include staffing, horse care, and administrative needs. Position responsibilities include providing medical care, nutrition, grooming, foundational groundwork, and basic facility up-keep for our young horse herds that primarily live in fields full-time. A support staff of approximately three (dependent on horse count) will help perform the daily operations of feeding, grooming, basic handling, administering medication, mucking stalls, and general facility cleaning. Limited overnight travel maybe required for approximately three-four breed shows annually. Ideal applicant will have excellent horse handling skills, solid horse care knowledge, staff management experience, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team environment.

Current Part-Time Employment Opportunities
Scenic 400-acre horse farm seeking part-time stable groom at premiere sporthorse show barn. Immediate openings available to work 6 am – 10 am approximately five days a week. Primary duties will include stall mucking, turnout, general barn cleaning, and grooming. Starting salary of $9.25/hour.
