Global Dressage Festival 3
Thursday was a washout at Global, but thankfully the rings dried quickly and on Friday morning the dressage show was able to proceed as planned. Michael showed Witness Hilltop to a win in Friday’s Open Grand Prix and a 4th place finish in Saturday’s class. With less than a year together, we’re very pleased with how this partnership continues to develop. Lara & Mitch Mitchelson’s coming 6-year old Faberge Blue also had his Third Level debut. Faberge put in his trademark consistently steady test to win Friday’s Third Level Test 1 and place 4rd in Saturday’s class. We’re off to a great start for the year.
Once again we made the long drive out to the beautiful Lamplight Equestrian Center in Wayne, IL for the Markel/USEF Young Horse Championships. Michael qualified two horses for the Championships this year.
With each step in their careers, the Riverman offspring continue to impress us with the versatile athleticism that has allowed them to succeed at the highest levels of most every discipline. Over the years we’ve seen Riverman ranked near the top the USEF Leading Sire rankings in multiple disciplines.
