Dressage riders and breeders should pay careful attention to this charming filly. She has the pedigree, type, and movement that emphasize the qualities we look for in a top prospect for sport and future breeding.
Onassis is sired by the FEI stallion Royal Prinz. Royal Prinz was the USEF Reserve Champion at the Intermediare I Championships and competed for many years at the FEI levels under multiple riders. His pedigree combines the very influential blood of Rubinstein and Donnerhall who have been two of the most important sires in the history of warmblood breeding.
Onassis is out of the KWPN mare Valkyrie, a daughter of the Olympic stallion Ferro and a granddaughter of another Olympic stallion Idocus! Valkyrie has consistently offered good movement and a lovely type to her offspring. Her oldest, Jameson, was earning scores into the 70’s at Training Level as just a four-year old.
Known as ‘Jackie’ around the farm, this delightful filly is smart and very good to work with for her daily handling, regular farrier visits, etc. She is registered with the KWPN. Contact us to learn more or to schedule a visit.
