Combeshead Stroke of Luck A real life Black Beauty, “Guinness” is a home bred pure Irish Draught black gelding yearling with white star and two white socks. He was sired by International Grand Prix dressage stallion Steeped in Luck C1 out of proven showing and hunting dam, Ballytina Queen C1. Guinness is very much a show stopper who has all the attributes of his sire and dam with a huge expressive movement, straight and correct coupled with a sane brain and gorgeous temperament! Bred and foaled on our private family stud in Somerset, Guinness has been well handled since birth. Striking black with two near side white socks, Guinness is expected to finish at 16.2/3hh with 9.5 – 10 inches of quality flat bone. Guinness has been bred for performance and temperament, and his sire Steeped in Luck C1 representing both the US and Canada at the highest levels in dressage, including the Olympics, and being a 5 star Irish Sport Horse in Dressage, a Gold Premium Canadian Sports Horse, and a Class 1 Gold Premium Irish Draught. Steeped in Luck offspring have AA friendly temperaments, known for being “amateur friendly” and are quality versatile athletes, with consistent performances. We have already seen his offspring competing at the 3* level in Eventing, showing up to Prix St Georges in Dressage and winning premium titles at their foal inspections.
