Pikko de Cerro HU Standing at Hilltop Farm
We are excited to share the news that Horses Unlimited’s International Grand Prix stallion Pikko del Cerro will be standing at Hilltop Farm this year! While an unfortunate injury has ended his quest with Lisa Wilcox to make a US Team this year, North American breeders will benefit from the opportunity to breed to this exceptional stallion. As Lisa said so well, “Cerro is the whole package! He has good looks of course, and his walk, trot and canter. The future of United States Dressage depends on this quality of horse! Cerro is going to make lots of breeders and mares happy!”

Any who has endured the loss of a horse can understand the sorrow and despair that descends like a shroud over everyone involved. Any who has witnessed a horse struggle through serious illness can understand how emotional it is to watch horses fight for their lives and how much respect such horses earn amongst their caregivers.
Festrausch (Florestan-Carprilli) has been an important part of the stallion line-up at Hilltop Farm since his purchase in 2000. His bloodlines, incredible movement, and elegant type stood him apart, and it is the movement and character that he passes to his offspring that have made many of his breeders very loyal to him over the years.
