About Qredit

QreditQredit is from the second foal crop of the young sensation Quaterback and was the first Quaterback foal born in the US.  Under Christian Flamm, Quaterback was the decisive winner of the 3-year old Bundeschampionat in 2006 earning scores of 9.5 for trot, 10 for canter, 7.5 for walk, 9.5 for conformation, and 9.5 for overall impression.  Quaterback then won his 30-day Performance Test with scores of 9 for interior qualities, 9.25 for trot, 9.75 for canter, and 9.75 for rideability.

The sire of Quaterback, Quaterman, qualified three times for the Bundeschampionat and is recognized  as a strong producer of movement.  His grandsire, Quando Quando, is an international dressage competitor under Kristy Oatley-Nist and competed at the Olympics in Athens.  Quaterback’s dam, Passionata, is a ½ sister to Poetin and is by Brandenburger, a performance test winner and Advanced Level showjumper.

At the 2008 Hanoverian Elite Foal Auction, a Quaterback foal sold for 120,000 euros.  Quaterback sired both the Champion Filly & Champion Colt at the 2010 German Foal Championships in Lienen.

Bred by Judy Yancey of Florida, Qredit represents three generations of her breeding program and traces back to her foundation Trakehner mare Helena whom she imported in 1977.  Qredit’s dam, Dream Rubina, is a Premium Oldenburg mare that is by the Grand Prix stallion Dream of Glory (grandsire to our Grand Prix horse Douglas Hilltop).  From the legendary Donnerhall-Pik Bube combination, Dream of Glory proved his value as a breeding stallion siring 4 licensed stallions and over 20 S-level competitors, Bundeschampionat winners, and high-priced auction offspring.  Granddam Reina H has produced an impressive 8 Premium offspring with the GOV and is the dam of the licensed stallion Sirringo (Sir Donnerhall).

Qredit was undefeated in-hand at breed shows in 2009 including winning the Grand Championship at Fair Hill, Stone Tavern, and the prestigious Dressage at Devon.  For a yearling to show his consistency, composure, quality of gaits, and conformation is indeed a very rare thing and the judges all rewarded him with excellent scores.  His median score for the year was an impressive 81.9%.

In August of 2010, at 2 ½ years old, Hilltop Farm presented Qredit to ISR/OldenburgNA and he received his Certified Breeding License and was Champion Stallion of licensing with 225 points overall. He began his under saddle training in the winter and in 2011 was licensed by the GOV, earning scores of 8 for impulsion and elasticity, canter, and general impression as well as the score of 9 for his walk. Qredit stood to a full book of mares in 2011 and we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of his first foals.

“Qredit offers new bloodlines for our breeding program as well as an exciting young prospect to train towards the FEI ring.   We are very excited to have the opportunity to continue to develop this special young colt and look forward to many milestones with him in the coming years.”  ~ Natalie DiBerardinis
