Kjendawn

Kjendawn Offered By HillTop Kjendawn 2023 | Oldenburg | Filly(Kjento x CF Dawntiah/Don De Marco) A beautiful, correct moving filly with high-quality gaits, Kjendawn was awarded Premium status at her OldenburgNA inspection as a foal.  She spent her early years at her breeder’s where she benefited from a lot of early handling and consistency.  She moved to Hilltop this past winter to enjoy a bit more time out with a herd and to be marketed for sale.  Sire Kjento (Negro-Jazz) has been a rising star at Van Olst Stables.  He was the winner of his Stallion Test and has been 2x World Champion Young Horse (at ages 6 & 7).  In 2025, Kjento made his Intermediate II debut with Charlotte Fry a winning one and see the Grand Prix coming in the near future for this talented, charismatic stallion.  Grandsire Negro is one of the top sires in the world for FEI dressage horses and is also the damsire of Olympic medalists Everdale and Glamourdale.  Kjendawn’s dam brings the older foundation lines of stallions like Donnerwetter (sire of the legendary Donnerhall) and Flemmingh (sire of Krack C and Lingh). Kjenda’s half-sister, by Glamourdale, was also awarded Premium status and was Site Champion at her inspection.   We anticipate Kjendawn will mature in the 16.2 hand range.  She’s a confident, bold filly and we think she’ll really blossom as she comes into a regular work routine for starting next year. Lexington

Lexington Lexington is a 2-year-old, 16 hh filly of considerable potential. Through her sire (Lord Leatherdale x Negro) and dam (E.H. Caprimond x Veneziano), she is related to several international dressage competitors and champions, including Glamourdale, Everdale, Valegro, and Hohenstein. She shows natural uphill balance, suspension, elasticity, and a cooperative temperament. Given her breeding, conformation, and intelligence, she may well reach advanced levels in dressage. At her Oldenburg N.A. Registry inspection, Lexington was designated a Premium Foal, received the High Score award, and was named Foal Champion. As a weanling and yearling, she received training at Ellsworth Equine Program in showmanship and obstacle skills, patience when tied, desensitization to many different stimuli, picking up and giving of feet, and standing for grooming and the farrier. She was also introduced to ground driving, saddle and bridle, and standing quietly while being mounted and dismounted. This year, she has been started under saddle and lightly introduced to yielding to leg pressure, serpentines, picking up leads at a slow jog, backing up straight, side-passing, and voice cues during longeing. She will be ready for more formal training when she is three years old. Lexington’s sire, Louisville HTF, has been making excellent progress through the levels, moving up to the Intermediate I in the fall of 2024, as a 7-year-old. He has won the US Dressage Finals, All-Breeds Awards, and placed 7th at the USEF National Championships. He earned excellent scores at his Stallion Test for the canter, trot, and rideability. Louisville HTF stands at Hilltop Farm, Colora, MD. His sire, Lord Leatherdale, has sired many Young Horse Champions and international Grand Prix...
